Daric Soldar I love Del Toro. I do. But quite honestly, it's his fault. He's a kid with A.D.D.. Look at how many projects he tries to handle at once. He never does one thing all the way through. He takes on a bunch of things and does them halfway before continuing onto something else. Justice League Dark, Hellboy 3, Pacific Rim 2, Pacific Rim Anime, The Hobbit, Crimson Peak, The Strain, Silent Hills, etc. If he'd calm down, a lot of his ideas and projects would succeed and see the light of day. But he just can't sit still.

It was the first game he was involve with and it got cancel. This means he had been involve with three cancelled games. The only released game Guillermo del Toro was involve with was Hellboy: The Science of Evil and it didn't do justice to the Hellboy franchise and here is the "kicker", it was publish by Konami.

He almost never gets his movies through the studio pitch. I mean he would have been the first serious director trying to make a Lovecraft movie, done right. He dropped out of Hobbit because of the studio - biggest mistake IMO as I think his Hobbit would have been much better (more pratical effects, no unsatisfied Ian McKellen, etc.). Now he tried to make games and again he only faces stupidity by "superior" publisher idiots. Oh man, I somehow wanna hug this guy for the shit he went through.

Squaresoft going back up in quality where they belong and starting making the BEST RPG games again. (AKA I really hope the FF15 to be one of the best entry in the serie) 8. Sad day really, talent is supposed flow. This guy`s imagination and Kojima`s genius could create AB-SO-LUTE magic together, with far more potential then they could do on their own (hell, Guillermo`s talent could really bloom with games more then films I think). If ever there was to come a kickstarter for a project between the two, I`d think Guillermo would give it another shot.

I think if he was really into making those games, either for fun or to start a new career, the best thing for him to do, since he is bloody rich, is to maybe start his own software company and hire Kojima and his staff or someone with a like background. Why not? The worst thing that can happen is that his games don't sell, but I'm sure with the resources and vision that he has at his disposal, he would do fine. Even if he needed a publisher, I'm sure Bethesda or EA would be all over it.

Insane. Hope to see that game in the future. It could be good. And I hope Guillermo Del Toro give gaming a other chance

Couldn't agree more. Del Toro seems to think it was because of him that THQ went under and that Kojima left Konami. But those companies had been screwed up long before Del Toro began working with them. Hopefully he finds his way back to making a game with Kojima. Kojima is a free agent now or will be so another partnership could be possible. (Least I hope so).

You know what he could do that I would like? Go to Platinum Games to get help with the combat, then have Platrinum partner up with Nintendo and have them help with the bug and glitches. And have the game be based off of Pacific Rim or Hellboy.

I think Silent Hills would have honestly had the potential to be in the Hall of Fame of best games ever made.

I think since Nintendo and Sony already got horror fixes, Microsoft should take advantage and get him to make an exclusive horror game. But in ideal wide appeal, maybe choose a third party instead like capcom to help with RE or get a new Amnesia game made from that other dev
