thats because he is an arm puncher, look where his elbows are flared out from his body, when will these ihigh profile trainers teach these guys, you dont just pull your elbows in to protect your ribs, to get any benefit from hip and shoulder rotation when punching your elbows have to be where they are in proximity with your lats. Most modern fighters dont know proper punching mechanics they hit mitts which creats the bad habit of flaring elbows

And yes I'm well aware of your technique, but to say that he doesn't know how to throw a punch is like telling a fish it doesn't know how to swim... he's able to land clean punches and combinations that are not only efficient, but also effective for a reason, and no, that reason is not only due to his impeccable speed and timing, the reason is that he knows how to throw a punch. Yes I'm aware what you're saying is basics, but most fighters take the basics they learn and change or develope them into something they find comfortable and effective.
