What size motor / props? I want to do this conversion so badly. There is one I’ve hidden at the LHS until I can afford it 😂

I would do the Cessna 150. I have seen people have lots of success with that one.

Looking great. At that weight, you can get away with painting it if you want.

What do you use to cover your planes? Do you use tissue paper? Do you cover them with tissue paper and then paint them with something like spray paint? Thanks.

hi jason, i use iron on coverings. my favorite is hangar9 parklite. this B-24 is covered in super monokote which is a good covering just a little heavier than parklite. i do spray paint them and it is neat cause if you mess up you just use a rag with thinner and wipe it off! the iron on coverings are fuel proof. =D

Do you see yourself ever building a Guillow's DC-3?
@jagdpanther95 жыл бұрын
it depends if i could find the kit for the right price. i have followed some build logs for the guillows DC-3 that havnt ended well. i did see one just recently that did fly well (no videos) so the DC-3 seems to be a real challenge.

@@jagdpanther9 I really and truly did not make the above comment with an angle to sell you a DC-3 kit. But I do have an un-built one that I have very little interest in. A previous owner (stupidly) popped most of the parts out of their boards so they are just loose in the box, but everything is there. I'd sell it quite cheap. Send me a message if you are interested; it would be neat to watch you build it.
