I’ve (binge!) watched a bunch of videos and in the ones in which you talk about heat protectant, you mention not using too much and that beginners will need to experiment. But how do you correct it on the fly? Do you brush longer? Or do you have to start over? 😳 LOVING these videos! I’m learning so much! Thank you.

I'm curious about the mechanism behind the three day rule. Is it about getting less total heat exposure by doing it less often, or does something happen in your hair in those three days that makes it safer to reapply heat? I have no plans to break the rule on my own hair, but I just bought a mannequin head to practice on and I'm wondering if I need to wait three days between sessions, or if I could style that every day or every other day.

Hey chris! so i was wondering, i just bought the redken volume injection shampoo and conditioner, and a while back you told me to buy the redken cleansing cream as well, but do i need that right now, or can i go for a while without having to spend the money to buy that as well? also, if i don’t buy it right now, is there any cheaper, more affordable options i could use for a clarifying shampoo? for some more info i have fine, thin, shoulder length, extremely oily hair that gets greasy a couple hours after i wash my hair. ALSO, i have another question, do i need to get a hair mask, because i have heard tons of people say that they are a must, but i’ve never seen you talk about them, if i do need them, could you give me a recommendation, and maybe tell me how to use/apply the mask?

Hi, I have a night out that I want to do finger wave curls for, what tips do you have to manage this? I've got my hair care routine sorted, and have the Redken 22 thermal spray, but am thinking in terms of recommended hair sprays, easy ways of getting it done, and do I wash that morning or the day before, given I will likely have to wash product out the day after.

Hey Chris, is the dyson airwrap considered a hair dryer or an iron? Just trying to find out if it needs a blowout cream or a heat protectant spray.
@BlowoutProfessor
@BlowoutProfessor Жыл бұрын
Good question! It's essentially a blow dryer so blow dry cream is best. But only use blow dry cream on wet hair 👍
@summersadie3687
@summersadie3687 Жыл бұрын
Doesn't it depend on which attachments you use? Eg, I would think it would be best to use blow dry cream on the "Round volumizing brush" but heat protectant spray for the "Airwrap curling barrels". Does that make sense or am I super confused (lol)?
@Valkiria4story
@Valkiria4story Жыл бұрын
@@summersadie3687 from what I understand, the dyson airwrap is a "blowdryer" regardless of attachments, therefore it will never go as high as 400°F, so a blow dry cream should be enough heat protection. Correct me if I'm wrong!
@summersadie3687
@summersadie3687 Жыл бұрын
Not sure, cuz I use the curling barrels on "high heat" which feels really, really hot to me :-) . . . but maybe not 400°F?

@@summersadie3687 Oh interesting. I assumed it would need just the blow dry cream, but based on what you said maybe it requires a heat protectant spray too...🤔 I'd love to find out. (The redken big blowout says it protects until 450°F so maybe it's enough?)
