Completely agree! This, for me, is where Capcom got it so wrong transitioning to 3D: they were unable to convincingly maintain that 2D feel. What we were left with was a 2D fighter with a 3D feel. Arc have completely smashed this transition out of the park, comparatively. I'd still aver Tatsunoko vs Capcom as 'Capcoms' best 2D to 3D effort as of late...
