Some speculation on Nago riceball taunt, I think the reason he’s so jazzed about how nutritious rice balls are is because he’s trying to prove to himself they’re all a human needs to survive in order to stave off his insatiable thirst for blood. It seems nago’s bloodthirst is a little more unchecked than slayers judging by his blood rage mechanic which ends up hindering him in battle more than it helps him, so I feel his character arc in the story may involve him trying to gain control over his addiction to blood, and his delicious rice balls, or rather their undeniable nutritional value helps him think that he doesn’t need blood

He then chose to study forbidden arts and dark magic and performed a ritual that resulted in the loss of his eyesight but the ability to control his shadow. His shadow took an identity of its own and can even assume complete control of its host body. He never had a dragon body... his shadow can completely cover its host body and take any shape imaginable

I like how there's two version of taunts One is to actually make the player your fighting frustrated, the character "taunts" them and tells them how much of a failure or disappoinment the opponent is. The other is not really a taunt it's more of a respect or praise like "hey, your pretty good actually and i respect your skill!" I honestly really REALLY like that, since there's people out there who don't really wanna taunt per say online, they just wanna show respect to their opponents skill and making a taunt that actually shows respect to the opponent they are fighting is a wonderful addition and i absolutely love it.
