Continuing the trend of shotgun teams, let's explore a solid type 2 wind code DPS that's accessible to everyone: Guilty. While not seeing much play in the top end of late-game content, Guilty still occupies a place that's fairly anticipated when it comes to teambuilding in NIKKE. Today, I will explain why you should care about building Guilty.

She'll always be useful. You can slot her in pretty much in every comp and she'll perform quite well regardless. Sure, there might be harder hitter, better dps out there, but her greatest quality is that she's a fairly low investment unit. Just pair her up with any other heavy investment unit you have and she'll perform just fine. Another thing is, she's pretty flexible as a unit. You can use her as your main B2, you can use her in SG team, or you can even use her as a flex unit. She's just that easy to use. If you invested on her, you'll most definitely won't be disappointed. Sure, you might find that there aren't many situations that you'd pick her over the meta units, but she's a nice alternative when you need one.

Wind code Nikkes with stack mechanics that Guilty can buff: Guilty, Diesel, Epinel and Pepper.

@@davegunnir2801 While she does buff every Wind Code Nikke. Those 4 are the ones she can buff the stacks of. Rupee has the same mechanic for Iron Code Nikkes. She can increase the stacks of herself, Red Hood, Snow white:Innocent Days, Tia, Novel, Laplace and Mica: Snow Buddy. Soda's burst does it for Fire Code Nikkes. Cocoa, Modernia, Nero, Power, Sakura and Soda herself can take advantage of this. No Nikke exists that increases only Elec Code Nikke stacks. Scarlet, Exia, Harran, Privaty: Unkind Maid and Rosanna could all benefit from this. Tove and Leona are the only Water code Nikkes with stack mechanics currently and no Nikke exists that exclusively increases Water Code nikke stacks. Mica: Snow Buddy can increase the stacks of all Nikke elements.

​@@moisesezequielgutierrezonly the small atk buff can be applied to her from Guilty's S2 buff, the increase stacks by 1 don't affect Scarlet BS due to how her S1 works it is non-stackable.

@@moisesezequielgutierrez An easy way to tell if a unit has a stacking mechanic that works with this is to check and see if they get an icon and a number (of their elemental color) to the right of them during gameplay. For example with Harran, you can check how many ATK Up stacks she has from her own self-buff as she will have a purple crow with a number ranging from 1 to 15 to her right. Tove's Skill 1 buff is represented by everyone having a blue bullet next to them with a number. Same thing with Diesel and Snow White: Innocent Days' Max Ammo buffs (a green candy for Diesel and a yellow flower for Snow White ID).

One other area guilty is really good at is co-op play. If you are still pretty mid you can rack up massive damage with her in coop by copying the damage of a late game player. There is a lot of competition for the burst 3 dps units and moderate competition for the burst 1. But no one really wants a burst 2 character. Using guilty I can usually come in with the second highest dps in coop because there is seldom other burst 2 competition so I burst every time. Not the most altruistic pick, but a good way to maximize your own reward.

I'm a beginner, I'm gonna be arriving in the 160 wall soon soon, currently the nikkes here are level 156 and I love to user her in the main squad here, these are my two main squads to the campaign, Liter/Blanc/Privaty/Scarlet BS/Noir or Liter/Blanc/Guilty/Scarlet BS/Noir, she is very usefull, especially against bosses and now I'm trying to advance in the chapter 17, as much as I can.

Guilty is Bae for me, I've cleared story with her and halfway through hard mode. That's a good team you have for her, I use Doro, Guilty, old Scarlet, summer Anis and old Privaty. My op gear tightened her spread and she's a literal monster

Hi Pseychie, great work as always. I come here today for a petition: due to how this kind of guides help so much with condensed and important info, i ask you to please make the next unit "Guillotine", for the next reasons. Aside of being an Elysion that would help in the only tower that need urgent help, would be the only electro char that can be optimized enough to cough at scarlet, so for ppl that dont have her, would be great to consider guillotine as a char. Second, as a "berserker" kind unit, ppl should need help about how to optimize the party to deal with its hp requirement, and its possible gimmiks with other chars. Even not being meta, i think it would be a very good addition that very few ppl is recommending. Whatever char you choose will be great, but i think outside meta there is very few chars that can reach high ceilings (specially without abusing manual tech like quickshooting)

You should do an overview on Maxwell. One of the better well rounded characters in Nikke with a really solid kit. Also about to get her to core 7 after she has spooked me 1000 times in the last 2 months

A composition I've been using with her has mainly been having her and another Shotgun user - mainly Sugar - in the same team as well as Tove, while having the Bunnies in the team, though mostly was using that one to max my damage output at the time for the Grave Digger Interceptions up until I did unlock the EX ones as of recently. Could be niche, or maybe I misread the Stack increase, but I always thought the Bunnies being Wind did help maximize her use, even if it means I had two Slot 2 units on my team.

Vipers good but guilty is better, the stronger your team is, the stronger guilty is as she borrows a % of attack from the highest attack power unit. Her burst is easier to use then Viper, no need to target anything. Viper is pretty good tho, don't want to disrespect her

Ah, Guilty: my first choice for a B2 unit in the shotgun comp. Don't get me wrong, Leona is nice...but Guilty is pretty solid herself, is much easier to develop, and is pretty darned versatile to boot. Because B3 DPS units are basically dominated by Pilgrims, I would love to see an analysis of more non-Pilgrim B3 units like Maxwell, Helm, Laplace, Sugar, and Guillotine, as they'll be needed in manufacturer-specific Tribe Towers. Also, because you've done an analysis of the schoolgirls, doing an analysis of the bunny twins might be nice now that you've gotten Blanc out of the SSR selector.

A lot of B2s fall off when you get bunnies and/or school girls since both pairs have the b2 slot covered. I hope if we get an Elysion duo, they are b1 and b3, so a lot of the good b2s have a place late game. That being said, Guilty is still solid as she's one of the few Wind dps. You can just toss her in a team and you don't even need to use her burst.

I really wish Sin didn't suck so bad. She has some of the coolest artistic design in the game, but... just completely worthless. I'm not a fan of "it's free giveaway, so it has to be bad" characters in general. I like the way Granblue did them--some of the best units in the game but took way more effort to get and upgrade fully (like imagine spending 100,000 crystals in Nikke as a comparison) than any gacha character.

There's no spot for Guilty in recent solo raids(usually requires units with survival abilities) and union raids(you can only put in three teams). Especially for those who already have Scarlet BS and winter Ludmilla, she's simply an obsolete dps unit.

@@davegunnir2801 She didn't buff Scarlet alt like at all cause' Scarlet alt doesnt have stack buff, Alice is the real buff for Scarlet alt. Unless you got a reliable taunt unit like Noise and the boss doesn't have any massive aoe abilities, you'll always gonna need a healer in every team in challenge mode of solo raid, period.
