The sheer disappointment of thinking you're giving your piggies a delicious treat by getting them some berries, or banana slices or something, only to realize they don't only not like it, they physically recoil at it and refuse to touch it. I had a guinea pig once that was picky about THE COLOR OF THE GODDAMN BELL PEPPER. She REFUSED to eat the green ones.

@@lonestarr1490 I like green bell peppers. :( But, fair, the guinea pigs find the yellow/orange ones and red ones far more bright and appealing. They like it bright and colourful. Guinea pigs are all about the aesthetics after all. I can attest to that, I was once a guinea pig, but then got transformed into a human and was very confused.

@daanstrik4293 that's actually pretty normal -- guinea pigs like to groom their friends & ear "eating" (really just licking or gently nibbling) is a common way they do that. i've seen living piggies do it but when they're doing it to a deceased cagemate, it's similar to how humans might clean up or embalm a body before burial. it's just a grief ritual & i find letting them do that is important for helping the surviving piggies not become so distressed at the loss of their friend

That "look of murder" being the fat deposits welling up behind their eyes. If you see a possum with white rings, that's not the sclera, a possum should not have visible sclera, that's fat. Possums are wild animals, not pets.

My neighbours had a hamster and evwry time I have ever went over and seen the thing, its only purpose was to eat itself to death while menacingly staring at me. It had a bite of a tiger so I knew it was no joke. Dead now, choked to unalived-nessly

My mother brought two guinea pigs from another state when she was on vacation, they have a very spacious plsce to run around, although she also has 2 dogs and 1 cat which is my cat. In a particular sunday she moved their space so it could get more sunlight and left it open because she thought nothing could go wrong, 20 minutes after she was concerned because one of them dissapeared, I looked for her and found her corpse with one of the dogs sleeping on her bed. Next day she bought 2 more guinea pigs and now we have 3 guinea pigs.

Eh? I don't own guinea pigs but I know a properly kept guinea pig needs room to run around. They're not ferrets but they do move, they even "popcorn" when they're excited.
