After the TV show "Merlin" left me DEVASTATED, I've been super interested in the Arthurian legends, and this book was the perfect fit.
"La Vie de Guinevere" is Paula Lafferty's debut indie novel that reimagines the Arthurian legend from Queen Guinevere's perspective...except Guinevere doesn't remember her life as queen. Vera, a modern-day woman in Glastonbury is met by Merlin, who insists she travel back in time with him to her forgotten life with Arthur, Lancelot, and the rest of the Arthurian crew so she can unlock her lost memories and save the kingdom's magic.
The novel blends adventure, magic, romance, and friendship, offering a fresh take on a beloved classic tale.
Paula entered the world of indie publishing with this book through an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign and effective social media marketing, going viral for her journey of creating the book. This successful book launch is another example of how the publishing world is changing significantly - something I want to make a video about soon!
