SuperSnk1 : Remember ?Hah! The band was located at #25 Lazzari Street and I lived at #9! I used to hear that song in my bed as a nine-year-old boy. As a sixty-year-old man, I can still hum the melody of their rendition of Sparrow’s “Mas’ in Brooklyn”. I think that “Bend Down” was their Bomb for 1972.At least, I recall hearing them practicing. I also recall “Hoppy” the tumba drummer inveigling me to “pelt down a jep nest” and when I got multiple stings he laughed at my swollen face a went to practice. I met him again as an adult and reminded him of that incident, and we became “drinking partners”! I also remember “Choko” on the Bass.
