Hi. The new Headrush have something like a multi capture technology, that can for example, capture an amp in different gain settings, so the capture can react more like the real amp tweaking the gain, and I think that could improve the reaction of the amp when turning the guitar volume down too. Would be interesting to see a video comparing the accuracy of this technology with a tonex. A latency test would be great too. Thanks for sharing info 🙂👍

Paintaudio also produces one of the best affordable MIDI controllers: the MIDI Captain, this CE1 is basically that controller with a computer and soundcard combined, I wish they could release an intermediate version: the MIDI Captain + built-in audio interface so we can use our own computers without having to install all over again as some licenses are for only 1 device

10:40 - my understanding is, for Flex Prime unit revalver cloning softare is included. And now a big unknown - there's been many reports that cloning on Prime/Core units is inferior to competiton (Tonex/QC). The question is, whether using *external* software would allow for better HR clones, compared to creating clones on the units themselves.

Thank you for sharing! Typically software cloning should offer better quality, as you are gonna use you own audio interface that should be better than the one inside these unit. For instance I was able to obtain better performances with my ToneX profiles inside my DAW compared to the ones inside the ToneX pedal. Thank you!

By the way, I notice that in they web site it is written that the cloner is included for the Flex, but nothing is said about the core or the Prime...

Yes, could have some impact too...even if, in my opinion, the processing power should affect the neural network training time and not the quality....but it is possible that the neural network inside the device is smaller to reduce computation effort.... Thanks!

The software cloner is free for all Prime, Core and Flex users. Also, apparently the cloning system is upgraded, offering more accurate clones. I've tried it, it definitely seems more accurate and fast than the older version (on the unit)​@@LeoGibsonGtr

Leo Ive been wanting an Ampero II Stage and was planning to get one. But when HeadRush came out with the Flex Prime I coudlnt order it fast enough. I overnighted one the day it launched. After already owning the MX5 and other comparable modellers. The Flex Prime is easily one of the best modellers under $1000 usd. I hope you can get one and I cant wati to see comparisons and the cloning on this thing is just awesome. This is way better then ToneX and Nano Cortex at this pricing. What a waste of money when you can get this more powerful modeller for the same price with superior amp capture technology. The editor is awesome. Its easy to use and intuitive, its not generic, it gives you a lot of adjustement only high end units have and it really unlocks this unit. Yes the MX5 could have been a much bigger product. But it is what is, no company is going to purposly hold dev or features from the market. Im sure they had reasons to take the path they took.

Leo, about the CE-1: Does that mean I could load up some Drum software, Guitar and Bass software, Keyboard software, and Vocal Software to have a band in a box? Maybe even some recording software too? Kinda like a super charged Roland BR/VS recorder (back in the day) and a Neural Quad Cortex had a baby, lol. Thanks for the video!

Hi, as far as I have understood the answer is yes you can. You can also load Cubase. You have windows 11...so you can do almost everything you can do with windows 11...of course considering the limit of the Chip included in the CE 1 Thanks!

Regarding the CE1 im wondering how much the latency is going to be effected by the plugin and workload in the DAW. I wonder how much this number can be improved by running IOT version of windows and some of Pictus tweeks. Super interested in this hardware. Would be even cooler if we could customize hardware selection for the super geeks.

I had Headrush MX5, while the features like set-lists and full stereo signal path was cool and useful, the sound was not so good, I eventually switched it to Hotone Ampero Stomp, which sounds much better imho. Also it is too sad, that I bought MX5 when Headrush were to release Prime and MX5 didn't get useful updates. So I have mixed feelings about Headrush, I don't think I will buy anything from them.

As long as a manufacturer doesn't use the ill-conceived mini or micro USB, I'm not going to complain. USB-C might be best, but USB-B is fine.
