I’ve Got his beginner book and his cord online course and this man makes guitar 🎸 life ALOT easier to succeed. He explains chords and shapes of chords to be used up and down the fret board. He answers questions. He uses color to explain what notes do. Amazing teacher.

This is incredible. I played guitar a ton during my schooling and early 20s and just took it back up again. I always struggled to get my head around chords, the seemingly rigidity around how they are played, and where they fit within scales. This video really simplified the concepts and showed just how flexible and experimental you can be with chords. Thank you. This was very helpful and easy to understand. I will say, my teachers were great, but they didnt have the time to sit everyone down individually to really explain some of this stuff. Difficult to do with 25-30 teenagers per class.

I'm gonna need a few more watches for it to sink in fully but you have made the whole "music theory" thing feel a LOT less daunting with this video. You really have a great way of putting these things across. Thank you so much! 😊

It makes sense but if its an E A and C sharp how do you find them in that order like how are they decided to be in that formation in the fret. For example I used your formula for F major which is F A C with the barre on the first fret. But why is it F and C on fret 2 and A on fret 2 or is it just how it is
