You are the most fun guitar teacher ever. You, more than any other youtube guitar person actually get the first step in teaching guitar...you make us WANT to play!! Thank you!!

I really like this guy's style. My ONLY criticism, is it'd be helpful if he'd routinely begin each video with a demonstration - probably not the ENTIRE song, but at least some of it.

Dunno... I really enjoy the format of the reveal and theory explanation.

why thank you for the appreciation thread guys :) Grooves - if I did that I wouldn't make any money from my videos, and you wonderful folks watching is how I make the majority of my living. Father beer, it sounds like you think like me - i make the vids how I've always taught to my in person students. Tait - you rock man, it words like this that make me excited to make videos. Happy friday everyone!

Time for another random fact. U2 was the first concert I ever really went to see. (Technically, it was the Bangles, but that was more of an 'im bored and oh they're playing tonight' thing, whereas U2 was a fly around the country and see them three times in a week thing). They were one of those bands where it seemed every time i went 'whos that?', it was u2. Pearl Jam was the second It's hard not to strum 'take a picture' in that intro.
@RyanLendt4 жыл бұрын
I have one of those too - Pearl Jam was my first CONCERT, but I saw Anti Flag before that (when they were smaller in the pittsburgh scene - my friends were going so I tagged along)

You have any interest in Matt? This guy is something else. At least I think so. I wonder what you think. And thank you again for the “Guaranteed” transcription and lesson. The more I work on it to get it just right, the more I appreciate your talent in being able to hear something and be able to “know it”. Curious. How long did it take you to figure out that one so precisely? It takes me forever to figure stuff out. To get a piece just right. I can hear what I’m doing is wrong but that doesn’t mean I know what is right. My ear just isn’t that good. But it gets better and better the more that I play. A couple of hours a day for a couple of months is required to play my best. But I am a guitarist and singer by sheer determination. I just don’t have “it”. But if I work super hard, I don’t suck completely. Anyway, I wonder what you think about this artist and about how easy or hard it is for you to figure stuff out. You are good at a bunch of other stuff too, like doing your channel and making it commercially viable. You have to be good at editing, posting, entertaining, being funny, and a bunch of other stuff. I think you do it all very impressively. www.bing.com/videos/search?view=detail&mid=11432CA4E1A7930AA6A311432CA4E1A7930AA6A3&shtp=GetUrl&shid=cb96e560-016a-432b-a43b-26c90b4f5a61&form=VDSHOT&shth=OSH.sR3WrWgT56thS2YE%252BdZRrQ

Matt who? Cameron? Keep in mind that I've been figuring out songs for a living for 15 years my good man. I didn't have "it" either. All it takes is the same thing it takes to get good at anything - time, practice, and (most importantly) patience. And don't forget to have a good time along the way :)
