Fun trick to really get that synth sound...... Buy 2 wah pedals, rewire one of them so it works in reverse. Turn them both on, and bring them both back about halfway, insane synth sound!
@RyanLendt5 жыл бұрын
interesting! I still have to buy my first wah pedal...

awesome man! very nice music to learn sunday.. or any other day, actually! pearl jam do so many amazing covers... there's still masters of war, eddie's version of redemption song is amazing, the first cover I listened they play live is Leaving Here... and it's great. than, I was lucky enough to hear on the same concert the classic keep on knocking with Bono as a guest that day... and all their concerts I attended to they finished with Yellow Ledbetter. one of my favorites. another great cover is all along the watchtower when eddie plays on the Water on the road dvd... BTW, on you tube, somebody made a playlist that I listen at work... Eddis sings Bob Dylan, eddie sings the beatles, eddie sings Bruce Springsteen I have been only playing accoustic, but I'll get a guitar this week and I'll start with Baba O'Riley... thanks again!

Great solo work. Any tips for bending strings? When I bend a string am I going for the note two frets down? Hope that makes sense? 😐😀
@RyanLendt7 жыл бұрын
Thanks J! Not always - I should have noted half step (one fret) vs whole step (frets) bend there, but it's a whole step bend in that song :) Use your ear!

the "land" music is so nice! I didn't know that girl could sing that well! I don't know why, but I didn't get footsteps... couldn't play.
@RyanLendt7 жыл бұрын
hey thanks friend! She's a great singer, and was my very first student 11 years ago. She left for college yesterday... but we managed to write 6 songs together over the last year. They're slowly being recorded :) What did you find troublesome about footsteps? If I can clear it up I will :)
@shooterbc97 жыл бұрын
the trouble I have with footsteps is the basic part... that picking part that is the base to the song timing wrong, don't know if I got the order correct (61h63 30, 40 61 ?) and it always sounds like that it is something like a bridge sound when looping it... I don't know... it doens't sound well.... good news is that I nailed Release... something i thought I would never be able to
@RyanLendt7 жыл бұрын
haha yay for release! yep, that's the correct order... just. keep. swimming :P

New guitar?
@RyanLendt7 жыл бұрын
nope :) that's the guitar my mom bought me when I was 12. It's since received new pickups. I'd like to get it new tuners and a new bridge, but that's where the red tele is now :)
