I love Eddie's voice so much. Has this really unique own sound. Amazingly soothing deep and beautifully high. Cutting distortion, strong and angry sounding in the one second and so fragile in the other. Not to mention that Eddie Vedder probably also is the most attractive individual I've ever seen.

Ya I hear I'm still alive 🥴. It's good to be alive and listening to the band that sparked an energy into my life 32 years ago on my first date with my wife when she asked if I would put this new CD in my CD player in my 64 VW bug ☺️ rest is history as I married that woman and now have 5 amazing daughters 28 yrs to 15 yrs old. Life has had its ups and downs but I live on the same beach I grew up on surf it daily and spend my off time with that amazing woman I married blasting pearl jam's music👍 Yep, it's good to be alive! Thanks pearl jam for all the years of amazing music!

The new album is supposed to be similar to their early stuff, Ten, Vs, vitology 👍. These guys are still rocking and going strong!

Welcome to the Jamily. It’s great to see new people discovering Pearl Jam. There are hundreds of their bootleg videos here on KZbin from their very first concert Oct. 1990, up to this year. Pinkpop ‘92 and their mtv unplugged set are iconic. And I highly recommend ‘Release’ live in Holland 1992. Enjoy!

I was actually there it was totally amazing there was only about 90 people there and I'm so glad somebody got on tape if you look on the right hand side there's a girl with red hair and a leather jacket and a temple the dog t-shirt. And that's my friend Kathy and she worked for BMG and I had a record store then works for polygram that was new in town and I just found a website to go did I say there's only about 90 people there and the acoustics were surprisingly really good and when he got up on the drum kit oh sorry my friend Kathy and if you look behind I don't have blonde hair anymore but behind her I'm wearing a peacoat with long curly blonde hair and there's a girl next to me with a leopard shirt or jacket so check it out it's pretty cool not that not to brag but it's it was pretty awesome thank you

I’ve got a cool story about Eddie Vedder. First I worked for an insurance company back in the day in the special lines field and remember actually speaking to Eddie about his boat policy! He said enjoyed calling instead of his agent! Very down to Earth and later we were able to meet at a Seattle Pearl Jam show so he was able to put a face to the voice on the phone 📱. ILL NEVER FORGET IT! RIP CHRIS CORNELL. The Seattle scene in the early 1990’s is unsurpassed by anything going on today!

I love the camaraderie they have with each other and the joy of doing what they wanted to do - play music. Thanks for posting. This made my evening.

Jeebus, I grew up in Rockville, MD and had no idea they played there - I was too stupid then to notice them. What a blown opportunity for me, but it's so cool they were there! I could tell right off that was Tower Records - which sadly closed - I think not long after that wonderful performance. What a great record store it was. I think there's a Container Store there now - at Congressional Plaza on Rockville Pike. Thank you PJ for stopping by my home town!

I'm from PG County (Prince George's for those who don't know) County, Maryland. I grew up mainly in the Greenbelt, Landover Hills area. I was only 7 years old at that time so way too young to even know who PJ was then. I did know and loved Nirvana at that time due to my friends Father buying and playing Nevermind a lot.

Or maybe the fact that he has such a small/simple drum kit lol… it’s so odd seeing him play on that because I’m used to all the cymbals everywhere

Funny Eddie joked about getting a Bernard King tattoo. King starred for the local Bullets team around that time, so Eddie must have been a big hoops fan. Well obviously - since they named themselves Mookie Blaylock.

Also I had a backstage pass that somebody from Sony gave me and Eddie took my book letters to Young poet. And went out to dinner with Dave Avery's he's not with him anymore and Mike McCready and then took Dave Avery to get a tattoo of the little man on his ankle I wish I guess he doesn't want it anymore I have no idea but that was pretty cool and the show is at the University of Maryland and it was a really good show I was about 1000 people anyway that's my story

I saw them that night at Bender Arena (American University), they were on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins! I was so bruised after that show from all of the moshing!

I’m convinced that Stone Gossard is not the same person today… Today’s Stone Gossard looks like Michael Bolton from office space while the old Stone Gossard had a totally different book and attitude

That's an interesting point of view. In 1995 he was still funky and young with the dyed blond hair and carefree attitude. (I think he looked best in 1992 with long hair and mustache, him and Jeff with his hats looked like Grunge superheroes) Something happened in 1996 besides turning 30 to change Stone.

Interesting...I saw them open for the RHCP on this night at Bender Arena, American University, in DC. I wonder if that's the "show" Eddie mentions at 0:44...It's only a 30 minute drive between the two. Looking for video of that!
