I have a 1998 American Deluxe Fat Strat I bought new. Its still in new condition cause it was so nice I was scared of scratching it. I do play it more now but baby it. Very nice guitars. I am so glad to see these getting some well deserved attention. Thanks for the video.

Before i start the guitar the woman in the video playing has a different trem...nut and mines not got a humbucker ....that said its got the deluxe silver decal and lovely classy abalone dot markers that say its a deluxe of some kind ...... Ive got a 1998 deluxe too....sunburst...lovely dark rosewood neck....they have very ....they feel played in ...comfortable necks ...very nice guitar....the early ones didn't come with the S1 switching....some people hated on the noiseless pickups but I think they're pretty good .....they sound "stratty" to me ....for a 25 years old guitar mines pretty much as the day i bought it 2nd hand 17 years ago for about £800....a couple of dings here and there as its only ever been in its case to travel to rehearsals and gigs (back in the day ) and sits on its stand now permanently ..set up with a Hex Pickup ...plugged into a Roland GR55 guitar synth ready to rock.. ....but as its a poly finish its pretty hard wearing.....which is fine as i'm not into all this "oh look at me and my pretend old guitar " look..lol.....I dont baby my guitars as such but i do look after them....to me buying pretend worn out looking guitar would be like buying old medals and pretending your ex military lol......I think they are under rated but personally if you can pick one up 2nd hand your pretty much getting almost "custom shop" quality for a pretty reasonable outlay ...very much like the sadly discontinued Baja telecasters ... .although I do owed a 1984 Ibanez Roadstar ll series which is arguably as good as the Fender (if you can get one of these snap it up as they're super good and cheap...youre getting a virtually "vintage " guitar for peanuts as good as any fender ever made )....but ...yeah a fender Deluxe strat is just about all the strat you need....if only picking up a very well made custom shop level of workmanship Gibson Les Paul was as cheap lol .....maybe a 90s one ???.....I had one back then and it was flawless...of course in those days the brand was synonymous with high grade materials and been well made .....once you had a Gibbo you had arrived !!!...took me 2 years of scrimping and saving to get mine...(and 5 seconds for it to fall off its stand causing the neck to fracture down its grain entailing an eye watering costly repair....) ..That said my current gibson (actually my only ) 2016 les paul junior is a very well made guitar ...a proprietary model made only for sale in japan for some weird reason ....well it was flawless...but as its such a nice guitar to use and very addictive its never been in its case and has a nitro finish .so its kinda "murphy labbing " all by itself ...

Thank you so much Angela! Awesome playing,! I have a 2003 deluxe. I put a Warmoth Roasted maple pau ferro neck on it and vintage zexcoil pickups. Tuned it to c standard and put thick Ernie ball not even slinky strings on it. Now it’s a beast!

I have a 2012 deluxe and i love it…. the HSS came with the roller nut, which i didnt like… so i bought the SSS version with the traditional nut and swapped out the bridge with a bucker

Nice demo, reminiscent of the mark agnesi style presentation. She is rocking out more than her previous demos. I would like to have her do a loop like Lemmo does. She played nice riffs that were pretty good to solo over. Maybe next time there she will solo over her own loop.

I own a 98 fender strat deluxe it's got noiseless pickups but before the S1 switching...it such a great solid guitar....people slagged off the noiseless pickups...but i liked them....the rosewood fingerboard on mine has gone lovely and dark over the years....its pretty resonant....not quite as resonant as my Gibson les paul junior.....but not as muted as a les paul standard... 2 piece body...tbf if anyone picks up a 90s USA strat they're all pretty good...that said my fender Baja 50s tele build wise is as good...and still guys buy Murphy lab stuff from Gibson...blinking idiots...for been . Er richer than me....joking aside....a guitars a guitar...most of a gig audience don't care wether the guys playing a vintage guitar...a copy of a vintage spec guitar with pretend wear....or a epiphone copy...it what your playing that they care about....actually it's what songs your playing. The guitar is kinda irrelevant....of course if you're in a The Jam tribute band you need a Rickenbackr 330...despite a fender strat been more practical and of equal jangling capability...

I bought a fender american deluxe (kind of aa maroon w/maple neck that came with noiseless pickups. Haven't played it more than 30 hrs since new. SAD for me. Also, a Fender Vibroking amp (same year w/original tags & box (same amount of non-playing. I wish I was able to play like 24 yrs. ago. Now both considered closet finds. Sad. I enjoyed hearing the guitar again - thanks

I do appreciate Angela and what she brings to the table, but on the other hand, I wish that when she is demonstrating such a rock oriented guitar as this Stat, that she would dial in some crunch instead of keeping it so clean through the whole demonstration. HOW PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE ADMINISTERED 1st choice: comfortable life (human contacts, fun, relationships, easy work) 2nd choice: remedy the one made by the first choice (all the opposite of the life of the first) 3rd choice, etc.: no personality suitable to survive, probable life as a tramp (in the middle of the street), absolutely no human contact, fun, future, precious things, relationships.
