It is so kind of you to care these days. Not enough do and it hurts. I just heard of a drug called vivitrol or something like that. It blocks the receotors in their brain so if they drink they cant get drunk and feel sick to their stomach. Its a once every 3 months shot that costs 1500.00 per dose however many insurance companys will pay for most or all. It worked for my pharmicists husband very well. Its a thought and I hope it helps. I will pray for you and I sincerely hope my son can beat this horrible nightmare. Thank you again for your touching comments.Today I spoke to my son 2 times and it is the first time in 5 years he was sharp and awake.@Jon Oz

That Charlie Christian pick-up, what a very cool unique tone! Also in combo with the P90, sounded awesome. And of course a P90 on it's own is always a great sound. What a great sounding guitar. And let's here it for 'Loopin'-Lemmo', brilliant stuff, he's really inspired me to start doing a lot more with my looper..

Charlie Christian did not obviously invent the first pickup nor did he design the Charlie Christian pickup. It was designed by Gibson employee Walter Fuller in 1935.

Alright, despite it being "Thumpin" Thursday, and you were distinctly missing the "Thump", that was pretty freakin' awesome, so I guess we'll let it slide,...this time!! You did Mr. Lennon proud with that lovely little set Mr. Lemmo, your renditions of songs honestly keeps me glued to GOTD much to the chagrin of my sink full of dishes and my looming yard work. I don't suppose you have any XTC hidden in your arsenal of songs by chance, do you? I know Andy Partridge plays a Telecaster and a Martin D-35, Dave Gregory had a Les Paul Goldtop, and a Stratocaster , and Colin Moulding used a Fender Musicmaster Bass. Cheers, and looking forward to tomorrow's Flat Top!!

Boy , haven't seen a tie die t-shirt in a long while , very cool , I always thought it would be cool to add a neck pick up to a Jr. and I've never seen a Jr. used for such a mellow vibe , makes me want to pick up mine and see what I can get out of it . I luv these guitars , the P90's just rock and as demonstrated it can chill as well , very versatile for such a simple instrument. great thumpin Thursday.

It would have fit into the Beatles gear, especially around the Get Back sessions. From a much maligned 2016 LPjr I built one inspired by that guitar. I did install a bigsby though. It’s an incredible playing and sounding instrument especially after we fixed the 2016 year issues.

I have to say for the record - that Jen does not get enough cred for how well she films the playing on the couch. So easy to get it wrong and she nails it most of the time. Michael Lemmo: You perfectly captured that song (Come Together) where every late teen guitarist has used a looper to actually improve on the original. Very nice job Sir. The subtleties were rank in the air. Stabbing out notes, with your own notes crowning and fading on the loop...you magically create a layman's rendition of a Classic.....and it does not suck. Watching this video, I heard myself and friends doing this song in 1978, on a warm desert Tucson night, with a Krag Looper, aka an analogue tape delay with the stops busted out to just record. We had 3 of them in series at one point. Or better yet, using Dad's reel to reel with a 4 head record, and a manual splice of the tape to whatever length you needed it....plus about 3 more inches to hide the splices and get back into the timing......... We'd load up a couple or few of them with 'guesstimated tape lengths for the songs we were attempting to play. Segue to 10 years later, and you just punch a damn button........Sigh.

@@cloh251 Absolutely not. I'm far too jaded to comment further. It's just too easy now! I remember lugging my Dad's stereo equipment to gigs, to plug my bass into the /Input/In/ jack, to get a bass guitar sound from a Sony Stereo System, without the benefit of an actual amplifier. Lugged those giant 3 foot tall Pioneer speaker cabinets as well. Sucked in the late 70's..... Cheers Brother!
