Hi, how can I change where guitar Pro chooses tab a song out,? For example, rather than it starting on e on the second fret 4th string, can I change the same riff to start on the 7th fret 5th string? Like can u change where I'd play the riff on guitar? Hope this makes sense, I can't figure out how to do it, I guess itl be transposing it to a different area on the fretboard. Cheers.

Great tips- thank you! I am having trouble printing it out in landscape format. I am selecting Landscape in the print diag. box but it does not work. I prefer having larger tab so it is easier to read...even if it takes more pages. My eyes are not what they use to be. Any suggestions- anyone? Thanks!

How do I transpose a whole score. Chords and all? I’m learning songs for a band and the singer had to bring the song down a tone. I thought "cool, I’ll just drop the key. It should be easy" dropped all the notes, changed the key. The chords didn’t change. Seems the only way is to manually go through every chord on the chart and type each it all in again. There must be a way around that

When it comes to arranging a song, I wish there was an option to click and drag a bar that's already tabbed and move to into another part of the song rather than having to copy & paste it and inserting a new bar. Would make the workflow much quicker.

This is the most comprehensive video I've seen on Guitar Pro 7. THANK YOU! I don't think you covered this, but do you know of a way to change the note spacing of a triplet? After I add lyrics to a song, the triplet spacing crunches the words together. I tried increasing the bar spacing, but that doesn't seem to change the triplet spacing.
@LessonsWithMarcel
@LessonsWithMarcel 3 жыл бұрын
Go to the Stylesheet where all of those layout settings are and under Page and Score format there is a slider that says "Rhythm Proportions". Max that bad boy out and that should help!
@datahound2u
@datahound2u 3 жыл бұрын
@@LessonsWithMarcel thanks for the reply! I had already did that. If it helped, it was only by microns, pretty much invisible to my eye. This seems so odd, because there is SO MUCH room between the triplet and the note immediately before it. GP7 has so much cool functionally, I'm really surprised that it doesn't provide a way of fixing this.

I.e....I want to play the rhythm guitar in the verses, but want to automatically switch to lead in a solo then back to rhythm...can this be done? Thanks all.

On the right-hand side, there should be an inspector bar that says "Track", under it you will see the instrument's tuning, and under that will be a part that says "Sounds". Hit the Plus button and find a sound you think would be cool and create it (you can also add effects with pedal chains). When you are done, click on the measure you want the new sound to start on. Then go to the to left, click Edit, go to the bottom where it says Sounds, then select the new sound. Have fun

Yeah, I'd say that covers most of the day-to-day stuff (except for the playback and practice features). So, great tutorial! Even after years of using Guitar Pro 7 I still learned something from watching this. Just one question burning on my mind: how did you configure your extra mouse buttons? Did you bind the buttons to key combos via some external tool or can you assign the keys somewhere in GP's settings?

Is there a way to loop a couple of bars that include a jump? I mean, let's say the second repetition it jumps from bar 7 to bar 10 and I want to practice over that change. Also, how do I play the song and make it start from the second repetition instead of the first one? If I go to bar 7 and press play, it continues to bars 8 and 9 but I want it to make the jump to bar 10.
