Little Panda with his geet slung around his neck. Lol. What a superstar. Love it. Chilled to the max! ;) I bet he's great at playing Seamus ( the dog ) by Pink Floyd. ;)

This series is underrated. The ability to window shop at home is great for discovering great Australian guitars. Its also fun to just perv on guitars with chill music.

My roommate in college had a 70's (?) Cort neck through with a multipiece laminated neck, brass everything: bridge, nut, inlays, etc. That was a great guitar. Had a solid feel like an old 70s BC Rich or even an Alembic that another friend had. Punched way above it's class. He didn't really play anymore, so we took it to a local shop (this was before the web existed) to get an idea of a fair price in case I wanted to buy it off of him. They offered him $50 for it because of the name on the headstock. They told him it would be worth far more without the name.

Must go back there. It's been a while between visits. Looks like he's got more stock too!

As a Californian musician who worked for major guitar retail and manufacturing companies, I like checking out this channel and seeing all the different gear, as well seeing what you get excited for. I wish I could hook you up with some gear too as it seems like we have a lot of different gear here. So is the government taxing some of this stuff and that's the reason for the higher prices? Seems like you could travel to the US buy a high-end guitar and return and save some $$. Of course, that only works if there are no import fees. BTW I found a used lefty Martin D18A for $1500 US at a Guitar Center. So great deals are out there

Yay! Can't believe I missed this. Anthony is an absolute dude; the place to go for quality second hand guitars in Melbourne. I bought two of my guitars there, and after buying one, I put a guitar up for sale that features in this video! Its the black Strat with the tortoiseshell guard and PAF copy in the bridge that Shane zooms in on at one point: 12:32. Great place for newbies too; Anthony will always give you the straight dope about what you should and shoudn't spend your money on. Great guy, great hang. Say hi to JB if you go on a Saturday ;-)

the vox AC4 has a 10 inch speaker, it comes in a 12inch version too... but that one is a 10inch. Also has an attenuator built in. 4w/1w/.25w. Best apartment amp I own or have used!

Hey Shane, love your channel. I'm married to an American hispanic from Houston Tx btw. The Coco guitar mentioned is symbolic of the great tradition of Day of the Dead celebrated by South Americans, Mexicans and their descendants of friends and family who have passed. Alters are created with pictures of the deceased along with items or pic's of items they liked in life, pepsi, rice and beans, Chevy's lol. The Coco guitar in the movie is an alter item of one's passing in the movie and a main focus of the movie. Otherwise the Coco guitar is just as you described lol. The proud latin people are descendants of Aztec Indians btw where the day of the dead celebration is rooted. Great video son! Son, is a Texas southern term of endearment!

You’re lucky. Here in the USA, Japanese copies are rare, and they tend to go for nearly as much as the originals. Great episode, thanks much! 😁👍

Cool. I got a blues junior SE off him about 3 years ago for a really good price and it was everything described to me over the phone so I took a punt and got it sight unseen and sent to me here in Coffs. I would definitely deal with him again. Thanks for the walkthrough.

Sommatone amps are some of the best around! A friend of mine owns pretty much every amp Jimmy Somma builds, and they all sound great. He does an 18-watt single channel amp that is by far my favorite, just straight up rock and roll. Was not expecting to see one while watching this video!

Always enjoy the GSS series thanks Shane. Make sure you check out Derringers Music when you are next in Adelaide. Two great stores only 10 minutes apart. No connection with them with the exception of picking up a PRS SE24 Zebrawood a few weeks ago - great guitar! Keep up the good work!

Hi Shane, if you get a chance try out a Marshall SL5. It has two channels (clean and overdrive) and a switch on the back that takes it from 5 watts to 1 watt, really usable indoors. The tone has what the Silver Jubilee is missing.

Hi Shane, seeing you've been checking out small Marshalls lately; if you go back to Guitar Colonel, try out the SL5 Marshall - very high spec and were only available for a year or so. I wish I'd bought a new one when I'd had the chance.

Can't believe how many guitar stores you have in Melbourne, this was a cool place apart from no lefty's, afraid I would have walked in then straight out! If they can't be bothered to stock any left-handed guitars I can't be bothered looking in they're store......

Henry Hartley g'day mate. We're a second store. So it depends what comes in. Just happened to have no lefties that day. But things change week to week. Cheers and thanks for watching this clip

The Guitar Colonel good to know that you get lefty's in stock, sorry for the harsh words but being a lefty is a bloody nightmare sometimes! You go to a store with a thousand guitars on the walls and four lefthanders stuck in a corner, cheers for the reply

Those aerodyne's are pretty popular guitars !! Also super cool with the tokai's !! I tried a barchetta back in 2013 when i won that "try a dbz/win a dbz" contest ... I just couldnt vibe with them ... but meanwhile the schecter variation on the style "Omen" I have. That hendrix V though ... mannnnnnnn that would / should be your bag !! just restring it to a lefty & your golden !! :D

Cort guitars ROCK! I have a Cr200 GT les paul and it holds up VERY well against a Gibson LP standard for playability and tone EXCEPT it has extra tone to the LP Standard that pushes it above the Gib LP Standard! Would I sell it for a Gibson? HELL NO! Cost me 120 euros having been bought, taken out of the box and not liked by the previous owner. A good set up sorted out the 'issues' ;-) Now my go to guitar!
