Actually I've seen that video before but thanks for the recommendation.I'm one of those people that's been a rabid Tool fan for decades. most likely because when opiate came out I was 24-25 yrs old.I like all the side project stuff that every member of the band has done. and yes Danny is the man. I'm really into a lot of the perfect circle stuff too cuz I like Maynard's voice so much.

Thing that I noticed after leaving a tool concert, it was so loud but it didn't hurt. The sound was so clean and I wanted it to just dig into my eardrums. That performance was something that just demanded every gravelly nook be listened to. Amazing.

I'll second that on the part where it was AMAZINGLY clean sounding for a super loud concert. Probably the cleanest sounding concert I've ever been to.

Tool has single handedly been getting me through this lockdown, unfortunately my co-habitants just don't get it. Great to kinda share a moment with someone who really does - thank you! I wish there were more quality recordings of them live - it's kinda obnoxious hearing the crowd singing along to this out of time -_-

And not only does Maynard kick ass on stage and put on a phenomenal show, he along with myself is a u.s. army veteran. He served a few years honorably!! So, he is talented and acts like a weirdo on stage and we love the band, and he served his country before any of tool. If you don't care for tool, at least respect the man for serving his country. For me, I love the band and respect them too. They are coming to my hometown February 2022. Finally due to the pandemic live shows have been back for a little bit now. THANK GOD!

When you see Danny Carey live, it's like you get hit in the chest with every beat. He's a monster. Unbeliveable experience. Edit: If you ever have a chance, I highly recommend to see Neurosis live. Out of body experience, but it's much more intimate, cause they don't do big arena shows.

They projected images across the horizontal and vertical surfaces creating an incredible experience of feeling like you were "immersed" in the music. "The Pot" was their 2nd song! I went by myself! I had a great view and coming from a drumming family, and Neil Peart fan, was mesmerized by Danny! Never seen a bass player that plays such a diverse range! More ! points are necessary! Thanks

Justin Chancellor could choke a giraffe with one hand. The dude has giant bass hands. I was at a live concert, it was inside. We were at the side, upper rows, and slightly behind half of the field. I could still see his freakin' fingers slamming that bass like a berserker. I had no idea where Maynard was. He got stuck in another dimension in those shadows in the back and only his voice reverberated through. Jones was completely gray, not moving an inch. He looked like a conjured up ghost personifying of the otherworldly sounds his guitar was making. And Danny Carrey was leading them all like a puppet master through multiple universes with different natural laws for each side of his drum set. They are unreal. It was amazing.

I've seen them live for the 1st time when they came here to Portugal with OzzFest and was really hyped to see them for the 1st time, but also to see Zakk Wylde with Ozzy. They were suppose to do a 45 minute set, but Ozzy couldn't do the show because "the prince of darkness" went and attend something for the queen in England... and we were presented with a 2h set from Tool. 'Till this day I thank the queen :). Then I've seen them another time in another festival and 2 other times in a closed arena. All this to say that like Michael says, their sound and visuals, especially in the arena environment is astonishing. This arena in Lisbon is were many bands come to play, and gives a good comparison between them in terms of sound. Tool and their sound crew nailed it. Just an extra about MJK. I've seen him live once with A Perfect Circle in another smaller venue and he only came behind, a kind of sheet light box, around the 4th or 5th song with his long hair wig. It was also one of the most amazing shows I've been to and what I still remember to impress me, on that show, was the drum sound. I'm 46, I've been to a shit load of live shows and very few I didn't like that much, but this crisp wall of sound that Tool manage to get live and APC drum sound I'll always remember. Cheers
