One of the sickest guitar refurbishes you've done yet! The camera probably doesn't do the blue undercoat justice. I'd love to see one where the undercoat is like a neon color, almost glowing through (alien blue?). This guitar is truly a work of art!

man i just wanna say i found this channel today! i love it so much not only cause the content is awesome and i love watching sick guitars or old guitars get restored, but that the production value is so much higher then any other type of similar guitar content on youtube... it feels like im watching the history channel!! this is a badass fn guitar man, ive seen the other splatter n crackles u did but this body shape and adding the stop bar makes it fn insane.... id be scared to ask how much it would cost to buy a similar one ahaha but man ur custom work is no joke, so its worth whatever price u got!!! cheers from canada brother

This is the only tutorial I’ve found in terms of converting a string through to stop bar tail piece. Planning on doing this to my childhood guitar. Also really appreciate the clear coat tips. My clear coats always come out kind of thin and I never realized you can just double down. I’ve only ever gone as far as 5 coats. 16 is crazy but it ended out looking factory so imma take those tips with me. Thank you man this Washburn came out beautifully.

the only thing I'd change is the strap button near the neck. the angle in which the guitar rests makes it likely it will get loose from the strap, unless there's some update (strap locks)

I asked Mark this question actually before but got no answer. I don't remember him dyeing a fretboard and in some cases the guitar would definitely benefit from it. Maybe no one just haven't asked for that mod before. I had a good result in one my jacksons with fiebings leather dye!

Would had love to had seen it routed for a flyod an the neck set but understand not wanting to get that deep into it. I’ve got a couple I’ve built myself but I’ve got one ML in particular I would like to see completed I may email you about, seriously I assure you you haven’t even seen anything like what I have done to it on any other guitar I have an epoxy resin diorama with a real stiletto switchblade a zippo rosary and real ammunition in the epoxy resin diorama. As well as fractal burned an the burns filled with a metallic flake glow in the dark epoxy resin. Description dosent even begin to really explain how bad ass it is but I can’t figure which way I want to finish it out

After the holoflash coat i will spray a water based clear coat (2k spraymax will destroy the holoflash effect). Then the crackle paint and the 2k at the end. Do you think the montana will crackle as well over the duplicolor aqua ?
