The stickers are showing actual temp. So with thermo cameras the shiny aluminum is reflective and makes the camera in acurate. The best way to read shyny objects is put some non reflective tape on it or just use a temp probe instead

@@DirtGearTvsome IR guns allow you to enter the emissivity of the material, which would allow you to compensate for the shiny aluminum.

You could also add some aluminum fins to the sides so the air passing takes some heat out of the tank. I imagine the fuel pump you are using is a proformancecpump to keep pressure under boost if so its putting alot of heat in the tank aswell. With those kind of pumps fuel volume is your friend so running on 1/4 tank or less will get the pump running hot and cause failure. If its a stock style pump they dont create nearly as much heat. I line that you used to coragated aluminum as even if its touching in places it will alway maintain air gaps so it will minimize heat transfer to small contact patches. Great idea.

What make model and specs are those shocks. I'm thinking about ditching the coulovers also. Mine look basically the same. Also I picked up a Suzuki 1.3 4cy motor and trans and a turbo kit I'm now building for a swap. Hope to ride with you guys again sometime. 😮

These are the fox air shocks, very light weight! My rears I believe are the 2" so they are almost maxed out on psi, my only regret is not using the larger 2.5" in the rears. They aren't for every application but they have worked well for me as long as i'm using my limit straps
