I got an idea from this video and a few other videos on this subject. I've used range bags like that before, but kinda gotten away from it an bought a small unassuming non-tactical back pack for my range gear. The problem with having a range bag was that mine had gotten to be just about what yours looks like; a lot of stuff just crammed into it, some stuff you rarely use, and the things that you need most often or at critical times is often buried behind or under other stuff. When I'm at work, I've used those work bags like that before too, but have always had the same similar situations with my tools, and when you really needed something you have to go through fumbling around, unzipping pouches, and having a hard time trying to find what you need. It would suck if you had to get to your medical kit, you would basically have to dump everything out to get to it in a hurry. So, anyways, at work I've often gotten away from tool bags and used a bucket with a liner for putting tool in, all around the outside, with a tray and some pouches on the inside, and a good lid on it to have something to sit on for when you're in one place awhile and need a break. The same concept would work perfectly at the range when you really think about it, and even those nice Yeti buckets have all the same features for under $100 too.

How do you lock the main top double zipper compartment. I see the lock attached to one of the zippers, but what do you fastene it to, to prevent that bag from being opened? I’m looking at similar bags, but do not see how t(e main compartment can be locked. And for some reason, that subjects gets over looked. Any comment/method you could share would be appreciated. Thanks-Anthony

I think that's a 5.11 range bag, not sure of the model but UTG all in one Range Bag is nearly identical except the utg has 2 removable pistol cases, super nice bag for half the price. .
