Song written by the guy at the piano Igor Krutoy 25 years ago. Dimash is a Kazakhstani son of Singer father and Opera singer Mother. He's been performing since 5 years old on stage. It's been said that he could identify and sing in all keys at the age of 6. He holds a Masters Degree in Kazakh music and heavily involved in nurturing young Kazakh talent and promoting Kazakh music. He himself wrote Unforgettable Day when he was 19 years old. Listening to Dimash is like standing in front of heaven's door.

I am writing to you from Puerto Rico, I am fans of Dimash, he has several songs that I would like you to hear and see as well, he sings in English and other languages besides Kasajo although we do not understand him in some songs he sings with so much feeling that is my humble opinion, because I cry whenever I hear it. Thank you and, yes, Dimash‘ talents are out of this world. I personally believe, Dimash is a Music Virtuoso of our time. He is from Kazakhstan and is now 26 (2020). Dimash has been formally training and performing for over 21 years. At the age of 5 years old it was determined he had perfect pitch. Dimash is referred to as the Best Singer in the World. Dimash known for his exceptionally wide countertenor vocal range. It is recorded that he has a range higher than Six (6) Octaves and continues to improve his ranges and techniques. Dimash calls his style an "Innovation" [Neo-Classicism] in the Classical Crossover Genre. Dimash combines many Styles such as Classical (Opera), Contemporary (Modern, Pop, Jazz, Rap), Estrada and traditional Kazakh folk music. I recommend you SOS (Slavic Bazaar), beautiful french song, Your love, an intensity show, a real interpretation masterclass. Ti amo cosi, a beautiful trio, and Ulisse, a beautiful duo. Mademoiselle Hyde, an enveloping dream. For more playful but brilliant things, Opera 2 and Diva Dance. Samaltau (Tokyo Jazz), very emotional and deep folk song. I highly recommend you Ogni Pietra (Olimpico)(my favorite, if possible), tremendously powerful; and I recommend the fancam version, where his technique and dramatic performance is closely seen (the fancam does not have optimal sound but there is a version of it but with the sound of the official shot). There are many more, but these are to get you started. And I recommend you to see a translation of the lyrics in each one so you can appreciate how accurate each interpretation is. Thank you for your response. I'm totally down the Dimash rabbit-hole, have been for several months now. I'm 69 and totally obsessed, I've simply never heard anything like him before, and his voice is so beautiful, his artistry and technique so advanced, that he simply knocks me flat every time. You're right that he's a seasoned performer: both parents are singers, mom sings opera, Dimash was on stage for the first time at 2. Started his musical training at 5 and yes, he has perfect pitch. There are video clips of him on stage performing at every age...his children's drawings from when he was 6 and 7 show him on stage. He's performing here with the world-renowned Igor Krutoy at the piano. He says when he was just a school boy he dreamed that someday Igor would write music and play for him: when Igor heard Dimash's voice, he came out of retirement to make Dimash an offer, and they've been working together since. Krutoy's latest composition, Your Love, was written for Dimash with lyrics by Lara Fabian (another of his childhood heros.) Nothing that we see is by accident. He's unbelievably gifted, but he's also incredibly driven, disciplined and focused, and he knows exactly how to manage the attention of his audience.

This was Love Is Like A Dream, but of course it is in Russian and is sometimes known as "Love, Like A Dream". It was written by Igor Krutoy, the pianist, in 1994 or so. He arranged it for Lara Fabian 9 years ago and also played piano (see YT video). I think the first performance was by Alla Pugacheva in 1994 or so and Igor Krutoy was once again at the piano, also on YT. This is one tough song for a first view of Dimash, since it is a lot of shocks at once, but it is beautiful, isn't it? This is what Dimash does. He sings songs with really difficult range and dynamics and sings them with great expression and with a complete commitment to staying in character. And he sings these high risk songs live. I can count the tiny mistakes he has made on one hand. It is quite shocking. He has also done a few studio recordings and they are amazing. He covers a lot of styles, but many of his best songs are from Igor Krutoy and most are in Russian, Ukrainian, French or Italian, so get good at working the captions and subtitles. You'll notice he is very comfortable in Russian and Kazakh songs since he is fluent. He is getting much better at Chinese and English. He is lately doing a lot more music in the style of his home region, Kazakhstan, in the form of folk songs and just 'in the style of' Kazakh folk music, but original music. He plays a lot of instruments and has been training hard at singing for about 20 years now. He kind of hit the scene in 2017 very suddenly at the Chinese "I am a Singer" professional competition, even though he is not Chinese, which is another long story.

Dimash is a vocal god. Like some higher being from another world. You must watch all his songs. There isn't any you won't be mesmerized with... I also recommend you to watch Diana Ankudinova, the goddess (17 years old) with unique unreal voice and stage presence compared to Dimash's. If Dimash is the heart of the Universe, she is the heart of the Earth and Nature... Her Rechenka(14 years old) is now believed to be the best performance and she is the best female singer of 2020 by international ranking. Her other songs Wicked game (15), Human (15), Oh, darling (10), Mischievous horses(17) and etc. Are also amazing. P.s. Diana (17) have just started her university studies in music this year. Dimash (26) already have several diplomas in music and started for his doctorate degree this year. They both classically trained from 5 years old. Diana started to speak and sing at the same time (4) because of her very hard childhood. Dimash won his first prize and already knew who he wanted to be when he was 5.
