Both Dimash and the pianist were students of the composer who passed away in July from COVID-19, this is a tribute to their professor/mentor/friend. Dimash asked the composer if he could sing this song at the celebration of his 70th birthday when Dimash was 20. The composer doubted that Dimash at such a young age could do the song justice emotionally. Anyway Dimash was given the opportunity to sing it, it was a very different performance to this (it is on KZbin), since this is a tribute to his beloved professor, but the composer was extremely impressed with the emotion that Dimash brought to the song, (which was composed for his sister who died at the young age of 19) at age 20. Obviously, the composer became Dimash’s Professor of Composition when he was studying for his Masters Degree in Composition, which incidentally Dimash scored 100% on! Dimash is currently studying for his Doctorate in Musicology. During the COVID-19 downtime Dimash has also learnt English and was recently interviewed by MTV for the first time without the aid of a translator! He did absolutely brilliantly! I really enjoy your analysis of Dimash’s amazing voice. Greetings from England!

Слова этой песни написаны поэтом Шомишпаем Сариевым, когда он выдавал дочь замуж. Попросил друга композитора Кенеса Дюсекеева сочинить музыку к этим стихам. Перед этим Кенес трагически потерял свою сестренку 19 лет, и сочиняя музыку представляя сестренку как она могла бы выйти замуж, вложил в нее свои чувства... Первым и замечательным исполнителем песни был певец Нурлан Онербаев. Поищите в интернете информацию об этих трех замечательных людях...

Thank you so much for this informing and insightful reaction. It is so interesting that even if you don't know what the song is about nor in what context it was composed, why Dimash is singing it, etc., everything you say about it and his performance is spot on - exactly what the song conveys and what he is expressing through his singing. This is a poem of love and sorrow; the man who composed it was Dimash's teacher (seen in the background) but he died recently, the lyrics and the melody are a multi-layered message of love for your family members and friends who are gone, who you miss; like you say - a prayer for those we love and miss the most.

Композитор написал музыку, посвятив своей сестре, которая ушла из жизни в 19 лет. Эта песня имеет очень глубокий смысл. Димаш исполнил песню, посвятив ее композитору, который ушёл из жизни.. . Исполнение умопомрачительное, столько боли, печали, скорби и тоски в его исполнении! Димаш настолько эмоциональный, душевный человек, который своим исполнением может передать смысл песни, прикасаясь к сердцу каждого слушателя! И настолько тонко, чувственно, осторожно он прикасается, что мы не замечаем как он вовлекает и нас в этот мир переживании, в эти глубокие эмоции! Потрясающий человек, потрясающий художник, потрясающий музыкант, потрясающий артист!

Mi farebbe piacere se relazionasse anche altri pezzi di Dimash in particolare - Passione - Know , ci sono diverse interpretazioni, tutte notevoli - Your Love - Autumn Strong esecuzione fatta durante la gara svoltasi in Cina - Daybreak , concerto Bastau 2017 - Eart song cantato da Dimash & Victor - Queen medley cantato con Super Vocal Boys - The Show Must Go On -Hello Adagio - Diva Dance ( dal film 5 elemento) del concerto Bastau - Mademoiselle Hyde Diciamo che c’è tanta roba però è solamente una piccola parte di opera omnia di Dimash.
