The first Vintera range had a modified 50s tele which included a 4 way switch exactly like the Baja including the S1 switch. Only differences I can make out are the range of colours (including bsb briefly which I’ve got) and the satin finish on the vintera neck. Both fantastic guitars for the money

I have the Japanese 50's Hybrid Telecaster 2021 model - very similar in some ways to the Ventera and looks very similar but has medium jumbo frets, American 50's pickups and 9.85" radius plus a 4th position for both pickups in series. I like that the Vintera Tele is true to the colour of the Nocaster including the neck tint!

I’ve got to be honest about the JV MIJ Custom Tele. I bought one last year on ZZ Sounds. The locking tuners were the first things trashed,& replaced with American Vintage tuners. The next thing that was disappointing were the pots. Had to replace both of them after my 4th gig.The pickups are ok and the tone push pull are ok.The only thing I like about the guitar is the 4th position. Its Fire Mist Gold w/Dbl White binding. For some reason,ZZ Sounds removed that guitar from their inventory. I know why now. I have a 50’s Modified Tele in Daphne Blue. That one is my go-to for every gig.

I tried out the 50s tele and the 50s strat and I think you’re better off buying a squier classic vibe for both. I found both necks were covered in thick sticky lacquer that were uncomfortable for me (although give it 6-7 months and no doubt a ‘roadworn’ version will be released). Pickups were great although neither matched the original American Vintage range of a few years back. The 56’ Stratocaster especially from that run was 10/10.

Agree completely, one of my main guitars is a 40th Anniversary Tele in matt Butterscotch, went yesterday to trade in a 1996 Sheraton against 'maybe' buying a Vintera 2 Tele,......what a shocker, came home with a Fret King Corona Classic (built in India!!),....100 times the guitar at half the price!!

I beg to differ. the Vintera II 60's strat is Specific to a 61 and 62 Start ONLY! This is evident by the placement of the second pickguard screw back from the top horn. (directly in the middle of the neck & middle pickups). From 63 on, that screw was closer to the middle pickup. The Fender Classic 60's (earlier models), were identical, and were renamed Vintera. FYI, BOTH have a ONE PIECE ALDER BODY.

For me, as average employee, is an expensive purchase. ok it s my hobby my passion etc…. why i have to check it out properly every time with luthier about defects and return in Holand the guitars? it s a pitty. if u can’t afford top series u ll end up with question mark toward quality.. it’s like a joke

So tired of these ridiculous Fender guitars that adhere strictly to old specs- 7 1/4 radius, and the rest of it. . Why adhere to old specs, which are rife with bad design flaws throughout, just to boast some sort of nonsense vintage vibe? Tint radii’s, having to remove necks just to turn a truss Rod, etc-- continuing bad ideas no one truly wants or needs just for the sake of tradition is ludicrous.
