I have American made les Paul's and strats. I took a Chance on aio wolf and bought an s1 based on one of your reviews. It is now my number 1. I plan to buy more of their guitars. I was given an AIO Wolf W400 recently. I cleaned it up and took it to my luthier to get it set up and checked out. He was really impressed with the guitar, as am I. I would definitely considering getting one of these as the quality is there.

Hey, Max! It was posted on July 24, 2024. You might want to add it to your list of interviews. I have an abiding respect for A.I.O. ever since I caught your interview with the big boss at their store. It’s the kind of thing I will never forget. Serious dude. I remember he personally double checks every single guitar after his people have finished setting them up. All of them. That’s amazing; to be the one guy who says, “If you own an AIO, I saw it, I touched it, and it’s set up exactly my way. I approved THAT guitar myself.” Hell of a thing, Max. I don’t know of anybody else who can do and say that. That’s some serious culturally inherent, unrelenting pursuit of perfection and reputation. So if anybody has a complaint, they would talk to THAT guy. All In One. Now THAT’s cool!

I bought an SC 77 back during Covid, to cheer myself up. It really did the job! It is way beyond what I expected!! Now, I don't play electric a lot, but I'd love to have a 335 style guitar. I noticed that detail, too. Just as I had shamed Epiphone when I saw their lack of f-hole binding, I will commend AIO for including it. Usually if a company takes the time and effort to address such a detail, it bodes well for how they constructed the rest of the guitar.

Hey Max. I love the overdrive sound you get on these pickups (KSA-50), but I happen to like the (AIO SH-335 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar - Red Burst) for looks. Unfortunately, the specs for the pickups on the two models show 2 different names. You've played them both. Do you feel the AIO Sh-335 sounds similar to the KSA-50? I don't know what amps / fx you were using on the two videos, so it's difficult to know if the AIO has a brighter sound profile than the KSA-50. I'm looking for something that sounds a bit more 60's, so I'm hoping there really isn't anything different pickup wise.

Max! One question. You said the one you have is a KSA50? The specs on the website say the fretboard is rosewood. The AIO custome SH-335 is ebony. The SK-335 also has gold plated hardware.

I have owned 3 and they all were great. Sold them to finance another more expensive guitar and regretted later. Planning on getting one of the les paul style models Aio makes. They look most excellent.

Great review, however, I'd appreciate some more comments about the neck profile and how it feels in the hand. I like the idea of a 1-5/8 nut width, because nobody else is doing that for semi hollows, but I'd wanna get a sense for how the round D shape it how that feels. Epis from 10+ years ago had slim 60s D profile necks and kinda C necks that were hit or miss. Their recent offerings have been on the rounder, more medium C side of things which has been a great step up in playability, so it would be nice to know how the "round D" compares to neck profiles we may be used to or that are synonymous with it.

There are a lot of gig worthy guitars in the $500 range. One advantage to a climbing that ladder to $2500-5000 is you can get into something that will grow in value during the time you own it. FInd a clean 80's 335 with PAFs in it and 5 year from now it will at least be worth as much as it was when you bought it and 10 years from now might be worth a good amount more

Which is Why and how are "full-size" Potentiometers, Better/superior to the "smaller/mini" Potentiometers? Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Has an edgy sound that I like + an ebony fretboard + grovers. I will have to do some research. In comparison, I have an Epiphone Sheraton II Pro. Had to do a plek and setup out of the box but on the whole, the Epi platform is pretty nice for the price, Grovers, binding, slim profile D neck. Although it has a different vibe , I think the Epi is competitive with the AIO IMO

I bought an AIO L P because I saw it here on Max's channel because he made it look like a good deal! As a matter of fact it was a Great Deal!!! It's a beautiful guitar!!!! The setup was outstanding!!!! I really like that new headstock!! Makes me want another one!! I would be ordering one right now if I wasn't getting to old!! I've been around to see rock and roll starting. And I have seen most of them, including Zeppelin for 9.50 in the third row!! Max's isn't B Sing!! These guitars are absolutely worth way more than what they're charging!! Like I said, I'm having a real hard time not ordering this guitar right now!! Just buy one!!! You won't regret it!! Oh and I spoke on the phone with AIO directly and told them what I wanted! Try calling any of the others on the phone!!

If anything, this upload is making me feel extra thankful that my present traditional arch top guitar is a professional grade Yamaha model from 1980, my birth year. After having purchased four economy models, all Epiphone, I suppose I decided that I wanted something closer to the high end but I have a much greater value than the Gibson original. I’ve had enough of playing instruments identical to the ones I had owned as a teen.

My Epiphone Koa Top Les Paul Custom has 7ply binding one the front and 5ply on the back. 5ply on the headstock & the ebony fretboard.

I love the shape & look of the headstock with the cool inlays. I have the Sire 335 model ( H7 ) in white with gold hardware and it is a good looking guitar as well. The Sire is very well built and I'm happy with it, but for a few hundred dollars less money I would have bought this AIO had I known about it. I think both AIO & Sire are a better choice than the Epiphone.

Where these guitars excel is you could effortlessly get endless sustain, like a Sustainiac but without needing a battery or special electronics. You basically controlled the feedback/endless notes with the angle your held your guitar in relation to your proximity from your speaker. If done right, you really didn't need to crank up the volume or gain much on your amp, although turning up the volume on a distortion box could easily get you edge of breakup and feedback with unlimited sustain. Guitar tone heaven!

I shopped around and was going to get a Gibson 335 , there was a Bonamassa 335 Epiphone hanging there and the quality and sound are over the top, all Gibson electronics including pickups. The Epi Sheratons are high quality also.

No, they have mostly traditional models. Some super-strats, but nothing extreme.

Nice guitar & nice playing, think i might get one of these. Used to be a big fan of Epiphone, but as the price has increased the quality has come down. These inspired by Custom shop need a massive amount of fettling to get them to play right. They do look pretty hanging on the wall though lol, best pace for them imho

agree. got and AIO gold top and is an amazing guitar! better then Gibson. body is slightly smaller, but amazing LP. pickups are great. the ebony fretboard is a winner. I would highly recommend AIO.

​​@@jmangi6221first my 2021 epiphones are high end and you couldn't afford them and second the specs of a few 2021 epiphones have been posted here so go be stupid somewhere else that max bullsh*t guitar isn't even slightly close to the quality of Epiphones build epiphone is a high end brand..this AIO is nothing more than a cheap copy of epiphone and Gibson

Looks great, really nice aesthetics on that model, though I'm not a fan of abalone inlay on the headstock. Abalone just looks cheesey to me, it's basically what "cheap" guitars do all the time to make it seem like they're more expensive. Great job on everything else, though.

They're an OEM guitar ordered from a decent manufacturer to their specs and set up before being dispatched. The company is a couple of guys with low overheads and they sell direct. Pretty simple business formula. Of course it's a different scenario to Epiphone who employ hundreds or thousand of people and have massive overheads and by the way also has the history of actually designing these types of instruments not just copying them. It's like buying some fantastic food truck meal where the owner is the cook, cleaner, server, bookkeeper etc and keeps all the profit for himself or going to a nice restaurant and getting a similar meal where the owner has Chefs, kitchen staff, servers, accountants, rent, utilities, liability insurance and shitloads of other overheads.

People put way too much emphasis on cosmetics like binding. Ears cant see any of it. The stuff that matters is hardware, woods, electronics and construction which is where this axe seems to shine for its PP.
