INSANE Jake E Lee News... But He Will Survive

He was walking his dog, when he got back to his place someone was stealing his car and he confronted them and they shot him, I just got off the phone with Paul Shortino and he just told me that…the news is saying he was hit three times but his best friend who's been with him all day in the hospital said he was hit 5 times. He's in a lot of pain but doing well. Actually Update: Jake posted he was hit 3 times…

I live here in Vegas and I just checked and he is in intensive care but doing well, thank God. As a resident of Vegas I don't recall the area where it happened to be a high crime area. Something doesn't sound right. Maybe he was targeted by someone that knew he walked his dog at night at that time. I never heard of a drive by shooting in that area. Most crime in in North Las Vegas not south. But this is just speculation as we do have crime in other places obviously. We now have over 2 million people.

I guess the interesting thing is: Jake commented recently on Tone Talk.....almost as an under the breath passing sorta thing....where he felt comfortable in Vegas being himself; smoking and not getting any dirty looks....I hope he has the fullest of recoveries; love this man's guitar style.....but maybe he'll rethink a bit.
