Jake and Jinxx are both classically influenced and have a way with filling every song. Neither of them just hang on a palm muted power chord for the whole song. They are unlike any of the other guitarists in bands that are famous today. My hat's off to both Jinxx and Jake. 2 truly amazing guitarists.

80's metalheads: Outcasts, not accepted by society, a community were people would listen to great music and have a great time in the pit. Todays metalheads (not all, but most) : close minded, judgmental, hateful, turn music into a contest (ex. BVB SUCKS. GO LISTEN TO PANTERA. Seriously, you're not cool) Most metalheads have turned into the very thing they hate. Judgmental pieces of shit who obviously have forgotten what metal was all about. Now MOST (not all) of the metal community are just conformists and annoying elitists. Its alright if you don't like modern day bands, like Black Veil Brides. If everyone liked the same thing, the world would be a fucking boring place. But at least state you're opinion maturely. Try and act intelligent. I don't get why BVB is known as a poser band. since when has being greatly influenced by a band (s) posing? At least BVB is influenced by GREAT bands like Metallica, Motley Crue, Pantera, White Zombie etc. Be proud that a band still recognizes those bands and gives credit when it's due. There is just to much hate going on. That was what the metal community tried escaping from. music was the great escape from persecution from society. Now most metal heads ARE the persecutor. In the end... they're out there recording all the time, playing many gigs, touring the world constantly and still have a pretty large fan base. this song definitely is not very complicated to play. im 11 and I've been playing guitar for about 9 months and I can play this. that doesn't mean they're bad guitarists. you don't need to shred all the time to be a good guitarist. I saw bvb live back in November and they were amazing and I thought that were 100000x better live than they are on recordings. go to an actual black veil brides show than state your opinion.

I'm not the biggest fan of them. But, i give them a lot of credit to them for what they do. They do write some complex things on guitar, and as a guitar player myself, i can tell everyone that their stuff is hard to play. These guys are great musicians, even though they are not my favorites. I hope that relieves some tension with this band. Not to mention they probably are making more money than any of us here, and they are having fun doing it because they do what they love to do.

Bands like KISS and Motley Crüe were ridiculed for their look, early on in the beginning of their career. You can only expect that to happen to bands with an image. Just like BVB. People always tend to lash at things they don't understand or agree with. You make an interesting point, but one cannot simply ignore the different eras. KISS came at a time where wearing outlandish makeup and costumes was virtually non-existent. Crue sorta caught fire with the rest of the glam wave during the early 80's. BVB are probably more similar to Motley Crue's situation, except it sorta feels "been there, done that" with them. I don't listen to BVB at all though, but I can respect what they're doing.

I got to meet jinxx once he was nice when he was sober. He did a reunion event at his hometown he played a song or two then disappeared. when him and his father was supposed to play he was behind the stage passed out because he got so drunk.
