Jake and Jinxx are both classically influenced and have a way with filling every song. Neither of them just hang on a palm muted power chord for the whole song. They are unlike any of the other guitarists in bands that are famous today. My hat's off to both Jinxx and Jake. 2 truly amazing guitarists.

In the end... they're out there recording all the time, playing many gigs, touring the world constantly and still have a pretty large fan base. Bands like KISS and Motley Crüe were ridiculed for their look, early on in the beginning of their career. You can only expect that to happen to bands with an image. Just like BVB. People always tend to lash at things they don't understand or agree with. You make an interesting point, but one cannot simply ignore the different eras. KISS came at a time where wearing outlandish makeup and costumes was virtually non-existent. Crue sorta caught fire with the rest of the glam wave during the early 80's. BVB are probably more similar to Motley Crue's situation, except it sorta feels "been there, done that" with them. I don't listen to BVB at all though, but I can respect what they're doing.

this song definitely is not very complicated to play. im 11 and I've been playing guitar for about 9 months and I can play this. that doesn't mean they're bad guitarists. you don't need to shred all the time to be a good guitarist. I saw bvb live back in November and they were amazing and I thought that were 100000x better live than they are on recordings. go to an actual black veil brides show than state your opinion.

I'm not the biggest fan of them. But, i give them a lot of credit to them for what they do. They do write some complex things on guitar, and as a guitar player myself, i can tell everyone that their stuff is hard to play. These guys are great musicians, even though they are not my favorites. I hope that relieves some tension with this band. Not to mention they probably are making more money than any of us here, and they are having fun doing it because they do what they love to do.

Okay I wouldn't be surprised if i found out that these guys are just a group of smart musicians who knew that its hard to make money making most metal music so theyve decided to go for something that will sell. Their music is actually really good in terms of creativity and it sounds pleasant at least to my ears. Their songs are definitely harder to play than most of Metallica's, Slayers or even Amon Amarths songs. Sure their image, style and lyrics is more suited for them rebellious teens hehe but only cuz their fans area bunch of annoying lil brats (consciously generalising here) doesnt mean that they cant play and suck at composing music.

To be honest, I think their music is great and I'm going to a concert soon. I dont really give a flying fuck about what they look like. I'm a BVB fan myself and I really love their music. Even if they dress that way who's to blame. Everyone just hates on something just cause. But personally, they at least dress better and more appropriately than some of these "rap" artists. (If you can call them that).
