Someone please help me understand. What does he mean by fourth position? 6:39

Maybe this is a bit late, but by "4th position," he means that the riff takes place starting on the 4th fret. 1st position = 1st fret 2nd position = 2nd fret Etc. The "position" signifies where your fingers are. For example: In 1st position, your first finger is on the first fret, the second finger is on the second fret, and the third and fourth fingers are on the third and fourth frets respectively. Hope that helps you!
