Nothing better than learning your riffs and then playing it 1000 times in different patterns. It's crazy how one idea can cause so many more awesome riffs.

Standard Tuning! I was looking at beginning of video thinking you're downtuned with a floating trem, a bigger pain in the butt than learning the riff! This is great, thanks!
@jasonstallworth

Yeah, you'll rarely see me downtuning (I have a couple videos where I experimented a little) but I typically stay in standard tuning, even with my 7 string guitar

Bro!!! I've bugged you (politely!) for years to paly a Slayer riff or two during a livestream!! This has MADE MY DAY! SLAYER rules forever and has the most recognizable 'evil' thrash riffing style of all!

Since I started watching your videos which I don't remember when I started but it's been awhile however though with all of your videos you shared. I have wrote 2 or 3 songs with little techniques you have shown and your riffs you have shared I changed the key to some then I changed up the rhythm and next thing I know it's something completely different and made a song out of it. The biggest fact that seems to be a common theme in a lot of your videos that I agree with 110 percent is make it your own style and build off of it. Your videos have made me expand in ways I never thought I would or help me to get to certain goals faster. Music is something that is weird in its own way too. 3 people can play the same 3 chords for example d,c,g the most common ones and everyone has a different rhythm they make for it. I'm getting a bit side tracked a bit but keep up the videos. I always enjoy the guitar chat
