I was surprised that Agadmator didn't comment on the predicament White put itself into with moves 10-12. Even I could see that White was putting itself at a significant tactical disadvantage by enabling Black to trade its bishop for White's knight, which could only be retaken by the B2 pawn. That left the pawn all alone unsupported by a pawn on either side. From that point on it was obvious that Black only needs to trade its D pawn for the C pawn, after which Black is free to drive its C pawn right down White's throat. I'm not saying I personally could have played with enough precision to execute this plan for Black, but I did see this opportunity the instant White offered it. So I'm surprised Agadmator didn't warn that moves 10-12 put White in a predicament that could be exploited.

@@parasitepower203 Alireza was the youngest 2800 to reach yet he underperformed in candidates. Rating doesn't matter in Candidates and each and everyone among those 8 are capable of slaying anyone. Not sure if it's right to say or not but winning candidates is difficult than winning World Championship. Coming to Gukesh surely he is a bright prospect and have an immense potential. He is learning and importantly experiencing top tournaments starting this year itself. He may win the world cup or qualify for candidates this year but winning candidates is still far from away. Many things should fall in line to happen and that's pretty much impossible for now. But in next 3-4 years he would likely dominate the chess world, may be even cross 2850. He will surely succeed seeing his dedication and talent but he still needs to grow a lot.

2nd : Is Vidit the biggest reason India would want classical 9LX? Vidit beat Sergey Karjakin to get in the 2019 WFRCC quarter-finals. But then... Wesley So & Fabi expectedly do better in classical than in rapid for both 9LX & chess. Now, I'm not familiar with Vidit but - Wesley So does 30% better. - Fabi does 40% better. - VIDIT DOES 300% BETTER. LIKE 50% CLASSICAL SCORE BUT 12.5% RAPID SCORE. Vidit in 9LX - is the top Indian classical player - is the worst rapid player among the top 9 of the 2019 WFRCC. - in classical ties for 2nd place w/ Fabi & Nepo behind Wesley So. When is Tata Steel Classical Chess960 ? It should be a knockout where Vidit is seeded into the quarter-finals. It can be 60min, not 120min. P.s. In the 2019 WFRCC, wesley so beat magnus in 3x classical in a row! Question : When was the last time this happened in chess that someone lost 3x classical in a row in the finals of a FIDE or PCA WCC (or finals of knockouts candidates or semi-finals of a knockout WCC) ? Answer : Vishy Anand beat Alexei Shirov in 2000. 2 whole decades Vishy's record stood - broken only in a variant!
