Just wrapped up my first week long early September visit to Gulf Shores and this old Kentucky boy enjoyed every single minute of it. The sunny white beaches compare in quality to any others along the US portion of Gulf of Mexico beaches and there's enough local activities, points of interest, shops, great restaurants etc to keep you entertained and wore out for months without feeling over commercialized. We stayed in a top notch airbnb cottage 7 minutes walk from the beach and the same for a bike ride to the Sunliner Diner. I'll will be going back as soon as possible.

For those that are unaware, The water quality isn't usually this bad. It's normally blue and beautiful but around August every year algae season occurs on the Gulf Coast and turns the watery brownish green for a short amount of time. Also tends to happen right after a strong tropical storm. I don't know when this video was filmed but that's the usual causes.

Hey it’s Marc again. I’ve been messaging you a lot a lot of your videos but hey, in this particular video, I noticed that out after you digital report on the battleship with the drone flyover I seen the tunnels that I used to go through a lot when I was a kid with my parents, but I never got to see What the tunnels went under because of the highway. I always thought they were going underneath the city. in fact it’s going underneath the river so that was pretty cool over to the right of that image is a single tunnel. That was one of the first tunnel they did I believe Before I was completed back in the 70s so so yeah thanks for that video. I really appreciate it that was pretty cool. I will be commenting on your Pensacola video too because we were just there earlier this year back in February I believe and you were at crabs eating something but blue or not. I stopped there once Sunday morning and there was a church. They’re doing a service outside, so right now I’m saving money back up and I do plan on making another trip back to Florida if nothing more than just a visit but I do want to actually move back to Florida anyway thanks for your videos and enjoy and talk to you soon

The restaurant are also ok and all owned by like 3 individuals. Buying in Ft Walton next because of much better beaches and closer to Destin where the food is exceptionally better.

Watched this tour again, and I loved it even more the 2nd time. I can vouch for the Segway tour of Gulf State Park - lots of fun. There is a guy at the airport in GS that operates a gyrocopter tour of the area that's really good, too. I flew with him a few years back in a powered hang glider and it was pretty amazing - plus you get to do half the flying. Love touring the islands of Perdido Bay by Wave Runner as well. Saw Jimmy Buffett last year at the Wharf amphitheater, and will see Kenny Chesney there this summer. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, too! Great little beach towns!
