He is buttoned down and serious about what he does and it’s all based on merit. Good luck and keep it up Owen.

100% "networking" ! Great points made by the guys here. Like they suggest, I immediately got a job at an FBO in Nashville while doing initial training. It was all about building time any way I could. I met a lot of corporate pilots who were CFIs and begged them to take me along anytime they could. I logged a lot of free training hours that way and I loaded bags, filled ice, or anything they needed, and was happy to do it. I continued that to get any experience available. Those guys brought opportunities and introductions to others in Nashville that helped me a lot. The average guy can't afford the hours they want, but there are ways to get hooked up. I did. Great video guys, as always !

Thank you for doing the Q and A guys, thanks for sharing the video.
@oreo101112 жыл бұрын
These days in private aviation insurance gets hard once you hit age 67-70. That being said Total Time requirements for pilots are increasing on the private side. You're probably looking at 3000TT with 500 Turbine 1000 PIC minimum for a King Air captain position.
@whiteorchid54122 жыл бұрын
The first most important qualification is that you have a passion for aviation which Owen has if he soloed at 16 years old. I would also add however that most pilot gigs are not this glamorous especially if you're a pilot flying cargo for a company like Fedex or UPS. It can get monotonous and you can begin to feel like a high tech truck driver.
