Gumby, Pokey and that claymation dinosaur and blue creature a.k.a. the band from Season 3 of Gumby (1980s) reminds me a lot of Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman from the Madagascar franchise and the Penguins and Lemurs (King Julien, Maurice, Mort and Clover) also from that franchise (Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) a stop-motion claymation feature film produced by Aardman younger than Sokley Films and features Wallace and Grombit two stop-motion animated characters more famous than Gumby and Pokey was also released in 2005 the same year as Madagascar (2005). Seeing them all aboard the helicopter shows what cute friends and honorary siblings they are.

I like the part where Gumby’s dad and that living potato head left after finding out they will be eating clam ice cream as an excuse not to eat what picky eaters they are which Pokey and the polar bear cub seemed to enjoy the most.

Chocolate clam-dandy. LOL! I loved these so much when I was in grade school back in the late 60s. These look crude by today's standards but the messages they convey are still relevant.

I just noticed that Gumba's voice isn't verberated like all the others. I wonder why,or better yet why they did reverberate all the other characters voices for these 80s episodes,as well as the redubbed recordings for the 50s and 60s episodes. They all sound like they are talking through an electric fan.

Polar bear cubs are harmless but adult polar bears are dangerous, so the heroes fled from the mother polar bear for a reason! Polar bears eat walruses and puffins, but they can’t digest clay so the claymation characters would have been alright!
