Thanks again for 100,000 subscribers ladies and gentlemen, and for the kind words you all gave me when I announced it, it shows how supportive of a fanbase we've created along the way. It's been a fortnight since we hit it and I'm still trying to wrap my head around that number. The next few videos include a 100K Subs Q&A special, a review of 'Split/Second Velocity', and RE-REVIEW of 'Gran Turismo 2'. Hopefully that's a good enough reason to stay subscribed, haha.

Interesting they had a Hollywood script writer work on this game. It makes sense, because the story felt a tad bit rushed and hurried cut scenes. Probably because the writer was afraid people we’re going to skip the scenes and put a lot of emphasis on making sure people wouldn’t skip them like you said.

There was a behind the scenes making of this game and that's what the developers were afraid of.
@Lolotrixx

Interesting, its the opposite for me. I think the cutscenes are about the perfect length for a Video Game. They are precise and just short enough so I can quickly jump back into Gameplay without losing any context. It makes senses if you watch the Making of. But Im also not a big fan of long overblown cutscenes and walking sections in modern Video Games so this works perfectly fine for me. I think the story is pretty great overall.

Thank you for the great videos you produce, they always entertain and I´m sure this one will to, I will update this comment after I watched it! Edit: Solid work as always, enjoyed watching it and gave me a bit of a different perspective for sure. And who would have thought the Hellboy himself voiced one of the characters?(I´m german so I never played it with the original voice acting) Anyways, despite the short development time it proofed one thing, its memorable as fuck! And a BIG congratulations on 100k subs, you really deserve it with the high quality videos you always bring out! I was actually really dissapointed with the first RDR when I played it because I was hot off this game. Yes RDR obviously had better graphics and a better story, but it was slower and clunkier. I missed the fast paced action of GUN, it played like a wild west version of Max Payne with an open world element to it. and the soundtrack was absolutely killer. I kind of wish they made another game like this, a western with fast paced responsive shooting controls.

Forgot to mention the gore effects in this game which I think were ahead of their time. The heads shots looks brutal, they'd blow chunks out of the enemy, I love how you can shoot people's legs off, or how some shots from more powerful guns send goons flying. Great review, I love how honest you were about the games legacy, maybe it's not the triple AAA masterpiece red dead 2 is but I checks a lot of the boxes that make it an expectational game for the time.

I loved Gun when I was a kid. I was an only child and I’m grown now. A few weeks ago me and my friend were talking about games we played a a kid and when he mentioned Gun we both geeked out for like 30 mins about it. So glad you posted!

I love this game. I have a lot of memories of playing this game when I was young. One of the best western games that’s been made, it’s a shame it’s not talked about as much these days. Thanks for making a video about Gun, keep up the great work!

I loved this game. I was a huge Tony Hawk fan, and a pretty big western fan, too. And would visit family in Montana every summer holiday when school was out. And I was very impressed. I keep meaning to replay this one, but fear it may not live up to my nostalgia.

My uncle introduced me to this game when I was 7. Admittedly I was far too young to play this game! 😂 But he was cool, and still let me play because I just wanted to ride the horses and explore the world hahaha. Now its one of my all time favorite games that I can still play start to finish in a single sitting.

‘Gun’ was a blast! I remember playing it first on PlayStation then bought it for PSP. Would love to see another or a remaster someday.

I cannot believe Neversoft is gone... I loved them as a kid. I event sent letters to the devs and they would respond. Man, time goes by so fast. The only downside to GUN is that it was made for almost every console out in 2005 so the game was developed on the PS2 and then porter/updated for all the other consoles. That is why xbox 360 launch games look so much better than the xbox 360 version.

Played it way back on pc, and few years later on PSP. What a great game. Actors were adorable in those roles. And OMG, that fight against MacGruder in the end...
