That 686 is gorgeous! Especially with that grip. I have several smith revolvers. I'll toss some videos up on them if you're interested.

Good Job, enjoyed the vid. For someone that didn't know much about guns and didn't own any until about 4 months prior to this vid you have an impressive collection and you are most definately more versed on the subject then when you first got your grandfathers Beretta Bobcat. Keep up the good work.

the knifwe was a william henry folder, I ahve a review on it, the value was $650, the guns value with the upgrades like the trigger job, and repalcement springs and the ahndel was worth $800, so I was happy with the trade...the guy just had alot of guns and wanted my knife, so we both ended up happy,...

used guns anywhere guins are sold...you cna buy online pretty cheap, but you haver to have them shipped to a FFL dealer where you cna pick them up, there is a small fee for that usually less than $50

funny you shoudl say that, I have put just over 100 rounds throuhg mine since I bought it new, and never once had a single problem, but I hear of problems from kimber owners and well as taurus...all the people who I know who own RIA 1911s love them, the design is the same as any other 1911 the only difference between a cheap one and expensive one is the finish and tolerances (fit)

The Marlin model 60 is just an iconic .22 plinker and just a kick in the pants to shoot . The model 70’s are killer too . Same thing except they use a detachable box magazine . I’ve got both and they are great fun .

with the 1911 ... do u feel it was just settling or is it really that good of a pistol? guy at the range near here tried to sell me on it because its so cheap and the springfield armory stainless 1911 i want is like $350 more. should i settle for it as an affordable 1911 or hold out for what i really want?

@0trinity some 22s only shoot 22 shorts or 22 longs or 22lr, some shoot all three some only shoot 22 magnums and so on depends on the gun, but not all are interchangable, also whats 22sr?

since this video I bought a AK47 and a springfield XDSC40...I prefer pistols for storage issues and becuase I can carry them...the shotgun muzzlebreak is attached to the gun but you cna buy the breacher style choke tubes at some gun shops online...I do not hunt...

Nice collection you have there. How do you like that barrel on your Glock? Can you tell a difference in accuracy when compared to the stock barrel?
@aikidoka149
@aikidoka149 15 жыл бұрын
I wonder... the first Mossberg you showed looked like an 8+1 but you said it only held 5. Here's a thought: Open the magazine cap and remove the barrel then load some cartridges - be very careful of course. After the 5th round, do you see a wooden dowel appear? If so, keep loading until you get a grip on it. Pull it out and re-assemble. Now you have your full mag. capacity. This is a not uncommon step for newly purchased Mossberg shotguns and similar steps might be needed for other makes.

Thanks I correected the model number in the videos, this has work done to it aftermarket so in signle actions is a smaller touch to fire than a stock model...
@cutlerylover
@cutlerylover 15 жыл бұрын
why is it better? my 17 holds 19 rounds in the mag with my +2 baseplates...more rounds, slighty better accuracy due to the longer barrel and larger full size grip, also longer sight picture due to the longer slide, what does the 19 have that the 17 doesnt, unless your talking about being a bit smaller for carry...in which case you cna argue the 26 beats the 19...

@JJO2012 pistol grip shotguns are 100% legal and sold at every gun shop, there is a length minimum for a regular rifle of 18.5" anything shorter than that has to be registered as a short barrel rifle and a tax needs to be paid, trust me ALL guns are legal, every kind, its a matter of having the right paper work to won them...

@LuckyFrenchster - Shotgun gauge is measured by how many lead balls equaling the shotgun bore diameter it would take to make 1lbs. 12gauge = 12 balls to a english pound, 16gauge - 16 balls to a pound, and so on. 410 shotguns are actually 28gauge. Hope that helps.

@maclarn91 They do not fire the same round. The sks is 7.62 x 39 and the mosin is 7.62 x 54r. These are are two very different cartridges. But you should buy both for the $330.00. The sks is more fun to shoot but ammo is still relatively cheap for both guns. Do your own research. Decide what you like and to what function is the tool for.

@IEJP In PA, if it's a hand-gun, you need to either go through an FFL OR a Sheriff's. It is absolutely illegal to par-take in a gun transfer for handguns in private. For long guns, I do believe it is legal for private transfers.

for everyday carry i carry a colt 1911 in .45 GAP. I only chose the GAP over the ACP because at the time it was a concept round, but yea it does massive damage. I also have a Glock 17, and 22. I have A les baer 1911 for comp shooting. I also carry a benchmade linerlock as a last ditcher. My rifles ( i am a lifelong hunter ) are too numerous to name but i HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAVAGE. And the majority of my shotguns are mossberg. you made some good choices for a beginner.

Nice collection. I enjoyed hearing the story of how and why you acquired each piece. One criticism, though. I think the aftermarket compensator barrel (lone wolf?) on the G17 is complete cheezball, man. Totally unnecessary on a 9mm and is almost certainly less reliable with everything except lead cast bullets in a Glock. Just my input. Thanks for posting.
