Here's a tip for new gun owners, not everyone that owns a gun wants to join a militia or commit a crime, almost everyone that owns a firearm wants only to live a normal, safe, prosperous and peaceful life, the last thing any decent person wants to do is take the life of another person, and you may have been in the mindset that if government would only ban all firearms no one would have to fear being shot, but this is a myth, a dream, a fallacy, firearms have been with mankind for hundreds of years just as criminals have, and throughout time firearms have been owned by good and bad alike, so even if legislation was passed today banning all firearms there would still be millions of firearms in possession of people that simply refuse to turn them in, as well as organized criminals and gangs that have been stockpiling stolen guns for decades, as well as low level criminals and even if by some miracle every existing firearm was seized tomorrow it's a very simple process to manufacture new firearms, all that's required is an iron pipe and a 2"x4" even if it's only designed to fire a single round like a musket, so like the old saying goes the best defense is a good offense and I can't think of a better defense than possessing the same or better firearms than someone else might seek to turn against you. If you truely want a level playing field where everyone is equal the Constitution is the closest mankind has ever come to creating it, every right we lose puts us at a disadvantage, because criminals will never obey the law regardless of which laws are enacted.

Here's another tip...not everyone who owns a gun shares your interest in preserving the 2nd amendment. Gun Owners for Safety is a group of fudds organized by the Giffords. You will find these wolves in sheeps clothing types will say alot of sentences like "I support the 2nd Amendment, BUT....." and "No one needs....(insert 80% lower, 50rd mag, etc etc". The 2nd Amendment doesn't include this vocabulary and neither should you!
@notchagrandpa88753 жыл бұрын
@@dgunearthed7859 I don't, I believe the second amendment means what it says shall not be infringed, anyone should be able to own anything they can afford to buy and protect upto and including nuclear weapons, nuclear submarines, battleships and fighter jets, so silencers and small arms are the least of it, our ancestors were allowed to own cannons and black powder by the barrel, our founder were the first army to use rifled barrels on their muskets, so even technology that hasn't been discovered yet should be legal and protected by the second amendment.

Guns are so well engineered these days, you don't even have to clean them that often. boresnake would be good. LUBE -- they need some good lube/cleaner. AMMO-- you gotta stock up on lots of ammo, its no good if you can't shoot it. 3rd'ly-- DRY FIRE- you need to put that thing in your hand everyday-- point it at things on your wall, click that trigger. Get good at pulling those iron's up to your line of sight; get that muscle memory down. After that, you should be looking into a good safe, because you're gonna have a pile of guns before you know what happened. lol
