"In what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh...." "The carnal mind.... it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be...." The only thing that truly deals with evil is the indwelling spirit of Christ, not legislation, not "religion", not leaving trace amounts which you write off as "nothing" but is really like leaving a smoldering cigarette in a sun dried forest. Even then the person has to voluntarily give up their taste for evil.

"mass shooting" such a ridiculous term. Did the guy concentrate and kill 6 million people??? no, he's a serial killer. "mass shooting" just sounds scarier and pushed the anti gun issues better.
@RobMustDie4826 жыл бұрын
Libtards: No, all crime has actually skyrocketed, BUT MASS SHOOTINGS ARE NONEXISTENT. P.S. Libtards classify 6 or more people killed as a "mass shooting," but there's a website that classifies them as 3 or more people SHOT with a BB gun.

Gun control is just like making it tougher for sober people to buy cars in an attempt to prevent drunk driving.
@ottergreen81905 жыл бұрын
PickCity1474 I say we demand interlock breathalyzers mandated in every vehicle regardless if you’ve got a DUI or not. This way, no drunk will be able to get behind the wheel and kill someone. Watch how quick politicians would say that’s unconstitutional. Look at the Parkland idiot kids demanding action, trying to disband 2A, then cried about the constitution after literally saying it has no place in America and they were being punished for criminal actions all the while trying to tear away law abiding gun rights. Look at London where a pocket knife lands you in jail but they lead the numbers in stabbings because criminals use them and no no one else can defend themselves.

I am a Vietnam Vet (21 months in combat) and was once a "Peace Officer", now retired. No one understands violence better than you or I. That said, me, you or no one else has any right to dictate to other Americans what they can and cannot own. I think we both agree the "nutcases" should be institutionalized and then most of the massacres would be over. Thank you for your service then and now Sir. Respectfully, Gary
@SomeGuy-sj1ly2 жыл бұрын
If you weren't a pow, I'm pretty sure there are thousands upon thousands of people who understand violence a bit better than you. Like eastern front vets from ww2, or holocaust survivors for example. Thank you for your service, sincerely, but you gotta cut down on the ridiculously arrogant statement bro. My grandpa was a vietnam vet who got blown up in a tank during the tet offensive then spent 3 years going in and out of the operating room at military hospitals before coming home to have people spit in his face, he would still never make a claim as stupidly arrogant as that.

Ever visited a maximum security prison? You can't even bring your glasses in, because they can break the lenses and now have a cutting instrument. The ear foldy things (man, I wear glasses but have no idea what these parts are called) can also be broken off and stabbed into a guard or inmate's neck. People are very creative, and if they want you dead, they'll find a way.
@gulshanchaurasia22333 жыл бұрын
well, killing with guns is a lot easier than killing with rocks, thousands of people can be killed with in minutes with guns, not possible with rocks. and that's the only purpose of gun - kill someone. weapons are meant to kill, they don't have any other purpose.

+northernsupernova1 what works in Australia wont work here. This is america. FREEDOM is practically the reason this nation was built. The government has no right to regulate guns from innocent civilians when it says in the constitution that the right to bear arms will not be infringed. We should have already had a revolution about this, but unfortunately people at some point in time allowed the left to get an inch in gun restriction and that was the end of the story. btw its really know-one else's business but the U.S about their own constitution so stop posting comments on issues you clearly know nothing about. God bless you sir/mam
@TristenApblanc9 жыл бұрын
+northernsupernova1 "a well regulated militia" doesn't mean you have to be apart of a militia or the military. 2. Yes they added amendments to the bill of rights to make it the constitution but notice they haven't removed any from the bill of rights. 3. Why would you go to a video that is pro gun then post an anti gun response to every pro gun comment. Know One here agrees with you. Know one is changing their view on the matter so if you want to post you're ridiculous, liberal, anti gun views do it where someone will agree or care. Im not responding to anything else you say because its ridiculous and were never going to agree. I also don't understand why you even care because its not you're country.

examples of that would be: the aurora colorado shooter, columbine shooters dylan klebold and eric harris, and now adam lanza. that's roughly 60 or so people killed because assault weapons wound up in the hands of people who had no business owning them. It's too early to try to understand or conclude the circumstances that lead to Adam Lanza getting a hold of the bushmaster that he used. If the laws made it harder for people to purchase assault weapons, 20 6 and 7 year olds might still be alive.

The only solution to gun violence is education. I was not raised around guns, and I was afraid of them for a long time. In the past few years I have been learning about and using rifles and pistols. And from visiting a few different ranges and gun shops, I can tell you that the people you meet there are among the most polite and helpful people you will ever meet. In fact, there are very few "scary" people I have ever met who admit to owning guns. I learned to respect the danger of firearms and how to use them responsibly. Everyone should learn, at very least, these two very basic concepts!

The nightclub fire your talking about was in 1986-87. It was in New York City. He was in the nightclub with his girlfriend. She broke up with him. He got really pissed-off, he went to a gasoline-station. The store clerk refused to sell him the gasoline. Caused he had no container to carry the gas. He convinced the store clerk that he had a car about 1-2 miles away with no gas. He bought about a dollar worth of gasoline. Went back to the nightclub and set it on fire.

If you want to stop such horrible things from happening there are two things that really work: 1.) Make the people feel more secure and happy (safe employment, bright future for the youth, etc.) --> no one who is happy wants to ruin his happiness by crimes 2.) Educate even the youngest folks in solving and dealing with problems in the right way! --> someone with problems has learned ways to solve his problems peaceful and won't feel left alone Greatings from a German without Guns -.-

That being said I am also from Oklahoma and can tell you exactly where I was the day the bombing took place in Oklahoma City. Timothy McVeigh was able to kill 168 people, 19 of which were children under 6, with fertilizer, diesel, and a moving truck. Evil people will do evil things.

We can get out in front of a gun ban law with a non-intrusive nationally recognized educational program about gun maintainence, safety, and storage. When that inanimate tool is in a safe for instance is much less likely for something irresponsible to happen. So people take this class and take the same exam anywhere in the USA, we get a certificate when accomplished. This cert becomes such a well known accomplishment with value that it could satisfy most people on either side of the issue.
