You're 100% correct, and I believe Tim from MAC resounded this as well somewhere (I think it was a live stream), when visiting a politician's office in I believe DC, he mentioned that they had every bill they passed framed and hung on their walls as some sort of trophy. They don't care about the common people, they don't care what effects their laws have, they just want the glory that comes with saying "look how many laws I enacted"...and that's both sides of the aisles. We should be eliminating unnecessary laws, and re-writing poorly drafted ones, not writing new laws and compounding are ever over reaching government

I worked with a couple reserve police here in Oregon. When it comes to crime, the reality is that the Police can't help you until after you are a victim. Additionally, this year a huge number of our Police are quitting and retiring and nobody wants to work as a police officer anymore due to the media hate in our culture.
