When you skipped to night time... it didn't seem to generate any money for the time you'd skipped over. Probably need to just be patient... Edit: ACTUALLY... looking a bit closer, it just takes the game a few seconds to catch up. :/ I'm still suspicious, but it's probably fine.

I did play a little more of this and I can confirm that it does generate a tiny amount of extra money when you skip to night. Not much though, you get more from vanquishing the baddies!
