The Book Is Cozier Than The Sword | Book Bound (Cozy Bookshop Manager - Demo)

Book Bound is a lovely cozy game where we manage a little bookshop, taking it from just an empty shell to an adorable shop filled with all sorts of books!
Very excitingly there's quite a lot of decor to choose from, including many different types of bookshelves, tables, chairs, artwork, even plants!
Helped out by a little floaty book friend we get a few bookshelves in place and then buy a few books to go onto them. We pick books in two distinct genres: romance and fantasy! We get theme bonuses if we stack the shelves with books of the same theme and it turns out people are willing to pay quite a bit of money to buy books from a themed shelf.
If we sell enough unique books of a particular genre then we get some new furniture linked to that genre, which is exciting! We try to work toward getting the first lot of fantasy furniture by selling many fantasy books, some of which have amazing names. Also we can pop outside and chat to people to encourage them to buy a book from us, but this isn't always successful...
It's just a very nice, calm, relaxing, laid back game with adorable graphics, a vast array of character appearance options and a magic duck that gives you money. Yes, really.

In Book Bound you run a small charming bookshop in by a bustling city. In this pixel art game you do everything that is required to run a bookshop, from decorating to helping customers and of course selling books.
Choose from a range of items to decorate your shop
Decorate your shop based on genre themes (SciFi, Fantasy, Romance, Thriller and Non Fiction)
Freely place bookshelves, art pieces, large decoration and small decoration (on tables and shelves)
Sell each book in a genre at least once to unlock bonuses
Decide which books to sell
Expand your book catalogue at the end of each day
Advertise to people in the city
Help guests find the books they are looking for
Sell books to customers

I agree, when I read the question in the game I assumed we were outside in the weather. I do really like reading when it's cold outside, we have a little window seat and it's nice to sit in the window seat, with the poor weather outside, and do some reading.
