You shouldn't think that by a certain age you should stop being into certain things. I feel like many younger kids, teens, and adults these days will have that mindset and keep enjoy whatever it is that they enjoy through their entire life; be it GunPla, videogames, anime, manga, movies, comics. In my opinion, I think it's imperative that people have a hobby to help balance their mental state of being and to help ease our minds from the stresses of life & work. It's important as well to have a hobby so that you keep up with your mental health and ability to stay focused on things. I feel like things like gaming and GunPla helps drastically with things like that; focus, hand-eye-coordination, decision making, planning, etc.

Havent seen part 1 just yet, I'm gonna watch it right after this. Idk who got into gundam/gunpla first but hearing your dad, someone of his age have such an interest and love for it made me so happy for some reason. I'm used to seeing senior modellers more into stuff like cars, tanks, ships, trains and all that. So refreshing to see one into Gundams and that giddy about them too. edit: just watched part 1 and as I expected you guys answered all my questions
