I managed to go to the Gundam Factory last year in November and I was blown away. I'm a fan of Gundam and it was my bucketlist to visit it once I am able to travel back to Japan. I'm glad that they kept extending after Covid, so that more people can visit it. I went there in the late afternoon, but was so indulged in the whole place, I decided to stay until the evening to capture the Gundam with the sunset. I definitely think the evening is one of the best time to go if you want a beautiful scene. Though I recommend going early too if you want to get the exclusive items (since they might be sold out by evening). Watching this video transported me back to Japan, and now I'm thinking whether I should try to visit this place one more time before it closes next year. (Also the night in Yokohama was beautiful. Went for a walk around Yokohama after visiting Gundam Factory, and I definitely recommend).

im happy for you, it was supposed to close down during the covid lockdown era and before tourism restarted. saw the Gundam last november when they extended the exhibit. i hope you enkoy your visit there. do have a snack at the Gundam cafe. its the only one left?? the other 2 closed down a few years ago during covid times...

You are a timelapse master - Rion - but the Gundum one has been really special. Yes, Yokohama at night is always awsame. Your eating of the Chinese food obviously became a serial but it is so ajoyable to watch how you adores it. China town at night has a lso an admirable atmosphere but not that crowded as during the day. I am so glad that after all the troubles during the week you were able to make such a relexing video as well as to check your bucketlist as related to final visiting the Gundum Factory. I appreciate very much that I had no major troubles during the week - only the time flies and very soon the first half of the year will be gone. Looking forward to new adventures!!!!

Visited the Gundam Factory back in February, unfortunately it was rained out the entire day and it was freezing cold. Still I managed to get a good video of the entire show and got a 1/100 Gunpla model. Hopefully I get to visit the Fukuoka Gundam Base next year.

It looks like medium grain or short grain on your plate. Otherwise, another interesting video up to your usual standard. 👍ありがとうございます.

hey Rion, it is alright to get unexpected occasional hiccups after the many times of being flawless with your video livestreams. Don't take that last Sunday livestream at Ueno too hard. It was a great one seeing the cute plushies while you were visiting the zoo. Oh yes I love this Yokohama visit you were showing here. I didn't realize it needs tickets to visit upfront. I thought I can stand afar to look at Gundam. Visiting Yokohama is already on my itinerary, so now it looks like I need a ticket to visit Gundam factory. Thanks for doing this video. Great memories again! We were there in Apr, and the promotional model kit was also out of stock 😪😪😪 Not a Gundam fan but my hubby is. According to him, the Gundam model kits are really worth it and not available or not easily available elsewhere. So if you're a Gundam fan, please bring money/credit card because you will want to buy tons! You will only be constrained by your luggage space 😂😂😁😁 Prices in the Gundam cafe is a bit pricey but they have some cute stuff that you can bring home after eating. I think there's this Taro character in Gundam, it's some pudding or dessert dish, after enjoying the dessert, you can bring the cute glass home 😊😊😊 And visit the restrooms, they are decorated with Gundam photos

Yokohama harbour looks nice too. I just return from Hong Kong and enjoy the harbour view. Wondering how does Nagasaki harbour view is like. I enjoyed Hakodate night harbour view. Haha. Probably you should have the Xiao Long Bay again one day :)

Gundam in the sunset, beautiful time lapse video. So that hot pot chain Haidilao opened one in Yokohama, Japan, that is great price, usually cost $50 per person in the US and the taste is not great.

i took the station that was a bit farther from the bay. 25 minute walk through Motomachi town, it was a 2kmwalk or something along that distance?? i dont remember correctly which station anymore. i take the line you took to get there to get back to Tokyo. the quiet and quaint smaller street lined with potted plants was beautiful. almost shed a tear of joy when gundam started to Come into view. i have yet to build admission gift.

i really loved gundam factory. i went alone. i thought it was the craziest thing. so japanese. so cool. i don't even watch gundam or collect the figures. i just thought it was a cool experience in its own right. made me a fan afterwards tho for sure.

Ron, another great video! Loved the factory visit ( you finally made it🎉🎉). Your dinner looked so good and it was a very reasonable price! I love Yokohama and the Chinatown there. There is so much to see and do in Yokohama and we also love the nighttime views! You are giving us so many good timelapse videos . We know it takes a long time to make them but they are sooo good!
