Shoutout to my homegirl Sally Poe. Started as super competant Earth forces Alliance officer to leading the Chinese resistance aginst Oz and showing Wufei what was up, to digging up hidden Gundams (she was gonna blow up the Maganac Corps and the Sandrock that one time) to ordering the Piecemillion to ram into Libra's main cannon. For Endless Waltz, I took Zero's silence as proof that Heero no longer saw the other pilots as enemies. Also that Zero its self no longer wanted to fight or couldnt see a way to end the fighting ... until the citizens stood up for themselves, Then Zero reactivated and proceeded to show Heero one last mission. The fact that Heero said "Sure , this will be your final fight" gives me the impression even the angel of war is tired of the endless battles .Both Heero and Zero were born for war, and both want to bring it to an end. Buuuut that may be just me looking too much into it

Fun fact: Apparently in the novels, when Heero was fighting Wu Fei in EW during atmospheric re-entry, Wing Zero was constantly recommending Heero to use the buster rifle to immediately end the fight. But Heero refused and was holding back. Heero and WZ could've easily beaten Wu Fei and Altron but Heero purposely held back so that he could verbally knock some sense into Wu Fei.

What a well put together video, it was entertaining, informative and funny. I watched all 4+ hours. As far as the Gundam Wing goes this really is one of my comfort anime's and it gets better with time. When I first watched it on Toonami I didn't really get what was going on but I saw mechs fighting with good music and I was hooked. Since then I've watched it from start to finish about 5-6 times, and each time it gets better and unfortunately more relevant to current events. Side note; every time the Butters VoiceOver came over I laughed

Great work man. Loved this series growing up in the 90's. I needed a refresher so I'm glad I found this video. One thing to point out though....the Dr. J comment about having a "sick hook shot in basketball" ...that's actually Kareem Abdul Jabbar of the LA Lakers (was also with the Milwaukee Bucks). Dr. J (Julius Erving) was known more for his dunks.

I will always love Gundam WING and Duo Maxwell to this day remains my favourite pilot of all time. But as I have gotten older I've begun to appreciate Treize Khushrenada for how he is portrayed as a relatively relatable and real person (when compared to the rest of the WING cast). With all that being said; *Operation Meteor* is just the name for the *Terrorist J-Pop Band* that is the core group from WING.

I grew up with Gundam Wing with it being my absolute favorite. When trailers started dropping for SEED with multiple suits I got mad excited, but it didn't have that same feeling that the UC and AC timelines gave. Gundam 00 gave me that same magic Gundam Wing gave me. I have difficulty choosing between Wing and 00 on which is my all time, but the nostalgia of discovering Gundam with Wing can't be replaced

originally when I first saw Wing I thought it weird that only one of the five Gundams was truly a ranged combatant, but as time went on and I thought about it more it made more sense to me, their Gundanium alloy already makes them nigh-untouchable, so being primarily melee combatants isn't as much of a weakness, and more importantly, they're supposed to be guerrilla fighters, independent and self sufficient from any sort of logistics network, melee weaponry is more conducive to that

This video made me rewatch this series for sure. The dub definitely takes away from the quality of the series but some of the dubbed voices are iconic to me so it makes it hard to not watch that version. Apart from that this series will always be a great classic space drama with some story flaws.

For that you have to watch : "Legend of the galactic heroes" and i do mean to origional and not the mess that is the revamped remake. Sadly the religious part kinda gets butchered in the last 30 episodes as Ideology took center stage for the most part.

@vonshroom2068 I will check it out. However about religion dynamics it is difficult to make something that makes sense without useing real world religions. Especially philosophical religions and Abrahamic religions. It is very difficult to make one as established as those. Especially when Japanese ry to make a religion for the story it full off as too basic and unrealistic to attract many people universally. You can use represention and just change names of the religion and things with symbolism even more. That is the only way.

@@ailediablo2496 Ow Legend of galactic heroes has the following ideological debates : Either to serve a corrupt democracy vs a facistic dictatorship vs the abrahamic church. But like i said the church thing played in the background and they dropped the ball once they actually had to make it the new big conflict. mind you that japanese anime is about 100 episodes long and most agree once the democracy vs facism plays out you might as well call it a day as the 30 episodes about religion kinda goes no where since they never were much of a force to deal with other then terror attacks.

This series has a lot of potential but it was so rushed. There should have been a lot more build up, stories, arcs, etc. Would have been nice to see a variety of new suits made and kits. A proper sequel or a prequel series. From an engineering/technical standpoint, Gundam Wing is one of the most visually appealing Gundam shows ever.
