How's the ustar chisels holding up? I saw some people saying that they're a bit on the slippery side

It's... usable. But as far as using them as the main chisel, I would say invest in something better. For example, I used to start all my lines with uStar 0.2mm. But I noticed that my lines were noticeably not as clean, they skip a lot (an indication that it's not sharp). I then bought a new 0.15mm (Aqua Hobby Studio - Taobao). That worked pretty well and it was what I used the most towards the end of the RX78 series. But I ordered some new chisels from DSPIAE (0.15mm) so I can compare them. I might post a video about that :D Sorry for the long winded reply, to answer your question, they are not holding up well. They worked pretty good at first but they lose their sharp edge pretty quick.

@@GunplaNewbie I was contemplating whether to start small with ustar or invest in something like madworks. Based on your points, madworks it is🤣 thanks btw!

I actually never heard of it 😅. Is it any good ? I've only heard of bmc , madworks and DSPIAE...
