Was there ever a worse hack radio composer than Rex Khoury? Even allowing for the way things were done in those days, and the standard practices of radio drama, the man never met a human emotion he couldn't overstate, subdue and beat into the ground. And it's worse on the sponsored episodes since instead of having two act endings to destroy with his screeching strings and rampaging horns as in the sustaining shows he had three.
