"if i find the the super corn seed" You can goto the house at Carl's corn, break open the door on the right and then go in and on the right is the chamber for the super corn, there will be a grown stalk of super corn and a box behind it with 10 super seeds and the recipe unlock for the super seeds. Beyond that, yes some living off the land and farmer armor would help make sure you never run out

The new armor system makes it possible to specialize in one tree skill and still be "good enough" in other things: you want to mine a bit and not invest too much in strength? grab a miner suit, want to get better loot or salvage without too many points in perception? grab the scavenger suit etc. Also, you should try the full assassin armor to get the better sneak speed bonus, when you have a high-level set plus some points in stealth perks, you can trigger a trap room full of zombies, retreat a bit and they all lose sight of you and just forget you are there, then just kill them all using a bow in sneak mode

yah the preacher gloves are good but for a stealth build the set bonus from assassin is way better even before the t6 bonus, even if you wake them up just hop around a corner for a few seconds and you can chain sneak attack rads till they are dead.

I like how the game is seemingly becoming less dependent on “optimal” build paths. Maybe it was always this way and I’m just not very good but it always seemed like Intellect and Strength maxing asap were essential in earlier alphas. Also how Ironic the POI at the end was named “our best moments” 😂

It might spoil the fun a bit, but on PoIs like 'Our Best Moments' I like to break into the building in unusual ways. For a place like that I'd probably put up some frame shapes that act as ladders and use the Fire Axe to break apart a high section of wall to look into the building. Sometimes you can get the perfect ambush spot going for a would-be ambush of zombies.

Zombies can easily detect you when you show up with a flashlight on your head, so nightvision all the way with no flashlight on. The lower that sneak number is the better, 100 means full visual after all :D

THIS. So many streamers avoid doing stealth stuff because its "less exciting" content. I disagree, as the suspense of trying to avoid notice and quietly take out everyone is plenty good for many viewers. But the stealth meter isn't just visibility......TFP has stated it takes into account a LOT of factors: Noise, visibility, smell, facing. Yes, facing. Approaching a zombie from its back or away from where it is looking means less notice. Zombies have a 90° to 180° field-of-view, so you want to stay out of that if you are being stealthy (if possible). Also, using ramp frames to get elevation and shoot over things and get better shots at the head (for that sweet headshot multiplier bonus, which MULTIPLIES stealth bonus, unless they've nerfed that in 1.0, i haven't tested yet) as well as avoiding "aggro block" triggers that are pretty obvious, and stealth becomes very powerful. Sometimes the trigger blocks are virtually unavoidable due to the POI design, but those are fairly rare.

Well that video made me rethink of doing a border base between the snow biome and wasteland lol. I have to admit im loving the tough zombies showing up sooner. Especially if its limited to infested quests since those were supposed to be tough.

it seems to be more in line with the biome.. in 1.0 there is a HUGE jump in difficulty, regardless of your game stage if you go into higher biomes.. the "trader progression" is kind of for your own safety.. snow and especially wasteland is littered with tough zombies from day 1

Not sure if you know or not but you can dig the area before you start the quest and it doesn't reset to avoid extra summons.

This is why stealth and bows are never the best way to go. When the shit hits the fan you need that crowd control and stopping power. But you know all of this so I’m curious how Jen is gonna piece you back together. 😊

Hard disagree. The issue isn't stealth/bow, it's the lack of a solid backup weapon. The pipe MG is decent, but just 15 rounds vs rads and ferals? Shoulda hopped on the roof!

Also hard disagree. The whole point of stealth is never letting them notice you, or in failing that, making them lose track of you afterward. Learn to run and get to a safe location, hide, and wait for them to lose you. Then pick them off one at a time at leisure. Proper stealth play isn't as exciting at times, as you spend some of your time just hiding and waiting. The full assassin gear bonus helps with that, making it happen much faster. Also, always take the time to get the best position for making that headshot. The multiplier is critical for tougher mobs. Use frames to get to the best position if you have to. And use ramps so you can quietly sneak up without the extra noise from jumping/landing. And when you wake someone? Don't just leave stealth and run noisily and wake up the rest. Stay in stealth and gain some distance BEFORE that, so you don't wake up everything else around you. Takes some discipline, but often the zombie coming for you hasn't actually "seen" you yet, and is simply going to where it heard the noise from......and when it gets there will just stop and look around trying to find the source. Don't Panic!

my buddy azmo fill and I started a server yesterday its now day 13 on pause while they sleep in australia.. i went pretty much 98% intelect ... we got 3 mini bikes on the ground, forge and workstation.. melee horde base i got a lvl 2 stun baton with the rep mod in it.. Az went agility and Fill went jack of all trades... man we dont even have a base.. we buried 15 bloxes 1 block down across the road from Rekt and we went after it all.. haha its a blast so far I am sooo wanting that nerd helm now after seeing you get it. I gotta say though Knives are crazy good

Not sure why you don't want the set bonus from the mining set... tools decaying slower sounds like a good way to save resources. Sneaks with Night vision = around 15-20 Sneaks with Head Light = 35-45 I know you need the headlamp for recording but in my opinion, your recording is just as good either way but with better stealth. I would think all the Rads showed up because this building was infested? LOVE that ending!!

Wood spikes were nurfed for awhile. Zed's would avoid them, walk around them. The z's got nerfed evidently, and run into spikes now. Spikes used to be over powered. You could run away from z's and drop spikes behind you or around you and the z's would run into them. Seems like that is back. The could be used as an offensive weapon.
