I was panicked when you were magic magnetting the ramp to the base and left the "magnet" blocks wood. You were upgrading in case of cop explosions and such and my brain went yeah but your ramp is borrowing stability from the side. XD All that said, the base look epic as heck. I love this design. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, but I think the base building episodes are my favorite. I love seeing the creativity on display.

Of all the major 7 days creators (that I know), you always have the coolest builds! It feels like there's potential for a lot more 7 days build content, but so few do it.

It's because a lot of the creators tend to focus on survival. They do some pretty cool base building, Glock9 does some great stuff. Also, JaWoodle is another great base builder. I do like Tem's builds, but sometimes they can be complicated. He does some great work though.

We could all build some creative stuff if the Devs would give us easy survival access to all the POI exclusive blocks right? No clue why its still limited to the cheat menu to get all this decorative stuff they use for the POIS :(

Tem’s builds are more complicated than basically anyone else’s I’ve seen. Especially for so early on in his play throughs. I prefer brutal effectiveness and efficiency to start, and then expanding into decorations and looks once your horde base can comfortably weather a horde. It’s less exciting that way. But especially for a one lie challenge type of thing- survival is first. Everything that isn’t survival has to come second.

You could use plates on top of the fighting position in order to keep the zombies from hitting the roof and ducking down. Also plate corners would be an idea 🤌

Even though the game difficulty is set to normal, during the second blood moon, when I play with my friends (3 people), an incredible number of zombies and extremely powerful zombies spawn. We face the same issue every time we play. This problem also existed in the previous version, and it continues in version 1.0. I have tried everything, including checking the game codes, to reduce the number of zombies spawning per person, but I still don't know what to do. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Maybe set xp to 100 and loot to 200 in settings. Since the levels make the game stage go up and loot doesn't (I think) it should make it easier by letting you get better loot and easier zombies. And make sure you fight them in the forest over any other biome too. Focus on prepping for the horde earlier too could help.

I got a lvl 6 steel pickaxe in a tier 5 end chest. I thought they said lvl 6 items would only be able to be crafted, did I understand that wrong? Plus GNS 3D trussing blocks are no longer able to be reached through. Enjoying the series very much.

Hey community! I NEED help!! ive got 1.0 experimental with a friend on a 4netplayers. Problem: The server delete the world anytime it restarts!! Saving the world manually dont work, my friend cant even go in debug menu like the way it worked in the past updates. does any1 have a clue?

They definitely have to adjust loot tables and trader items still. Finding so many sham sandwiches early on us awful, my brother and I found a legendary part day 3, Glock9 had 2 or 3 by his first horde. The items being sold progress so quickly too. I might be doing horde every night but he's already selling better stuff than I can craft by day 5. Level 4 wrench, wooden bow. Also anyone else not getting books properly? I've got points into knuckles and machine guns but for some reason I'm finding more books for every other weapon. I can make level 4 knuckles, but I bought 4 books and I can craft level 4 stone sledge, level 3 stone spear, level 2 batons and level 4 knives...

With how melee heavy your gameplay is, why don't you go Stun Baton with the repulser mod? With maxed physician giving a 10% instant kill is crazy. Take some Nerd Tats to increase your AoE shock and knock back is game breaking.

I know ur not on strength but the knockdown from sledgehammers is amazing for the base idea that u came up with. I think u might need to pull it one block away from the base for the ramp up but besides that it is a cool design.

Having several zombies able to be up at the front instead of the usual one means all of them can be breaking your blocks at once. I don't see how you can make that work.

Experience tells me just don't have the firepower to handle the Snows, this isnt the old days. Every POI felt like an infestation, and ferals of the tough types roamed the streets. You have get some really good RNG to find a decent gun in loot, so you have to fall back on crafting or buying. Not specced into firearm early? No gun, few parts. No INT? Well, no trader stages or buying discounts. Traders will have better weapons, but the costs are brutal.

Hey Tem I absolutely love your 7 days videos. In my opinion you make the best videos out of any KZbinr for this game. But I had an idea that I think you should really think about doing. I don't know if you ever seen the movie Spider Head with Chris Hemsworth, but they go to a pretty cool looking prison slash research facility built off the oceanfront and it would make such a cool base. You should look into it I'm trying to build one myself and it's not easy I've only been able to come up with a few images of it but it's an idea and I think you're a fan base would love it if you could build an exact replica of that building

I think it would be really good to get a machete for horde nights. Its been awhile since I've done an Agility playthrough, but i remember machete power attacks having a wide swing-arc that also applies bleeds. Unsure if it has aoe/splash though.

This move was well done. Personally, concerning the increased HP pools of zombies, I think that was a bad idea for balancing. If you want the early game to be harder, why not make it so your weapon damage is nerfed, but make it so mods give you more damage than before? That way, not only do we have more emphasis on modifying gear as soon as possible so it's not as minor of a bonus, we also don't have nearly as hard horde nights.

I was curious as to what the layout of this map was so I created it using your seed "Vanguard" in creative mode and flew around but noticed the layout of the traders was a bit different. For instance I could not locate the area in which you built this outside of Trader Hugh. Weird.

I did my usual. home in the forest but horde base in the wasteland in a T5 Poi. just go done with day 14 and had i think a dozen demos. (64 max zombies)

I think there is an extreme imbalance in the toughness. We did a tier 2 regular quest and there were 3 rads, 3-4 ferals (biker at that) and a cop or two,, they all woke up at one time and we snuck in,,, this felt like a tier 4-5 and not a 2.5. We still have weak armor and weak weapons.. not sure what they did but that balance is way off. Still love love the game but those quest with usually later in the game zombies is too much. We are on day 15!! playing of regular difficulty. I always enjoy your videos, thanks for all you do to make them so entertaining!

36:17 The spear would be a better choice then the knife there for more distance (You can hit the zombies but they cant hit you) Also where they fall down you could build a pit so with spikecones so they cant get up again

you will never ever try an infested in the waste land at tier 5, you would need the intelligence build 2 turrets, a mini horde base outside and about 2000+ rounds of ammo. they are ridiculous.

The idea you had for the cigar and the strength mod wont work i have personally tried that on my lv 6 nerd cap it didnt work even tried with cigar and agility mod they dont stack it seems. So you still can only get plus 1 of a stat

tried this base real touch and go if you stand in wrong spot. if stand fraction to close u just get rekt lol. and i ended up dying due to burning myself to death. i think base would work good with like normal weapon with little range but it went ok. ty
