In this game, you can peacefully live alongside mysterious creatures known as Pals or risk your life to drive off a ruthless poaching syndicate.
Pals can be used to fight, or they can be made to work on farms or factories.
You can even sell them or eat them!

Survival
In a harsh environment where food is scarce and vicious poachers roam, danger waits around every corner. To survive, you must tread carefully and make difficult choices...even if that means eating your own Pals when the time comes.
Mounts & Exploration
Pals can be mounted to traverse the land, sea and sky-allowing you to traverse all kinds of environment as you explore the world.
Building Structures
Want to build a pyramid? Put an army of Pals on the job. Don't worry; there are no labor laws for Pals.
Production
Make use of Pals and their skills to make fire, generate electricity, or mine ore so that you can live a life of comfort.
Farming
Some Pals are good at planting seeds, while others are skilled at watering or harvesting crops. Work together with your Pals to create an idyllic farmstead.
Factories & Automation
Letting Pals do the work is the key to automation. Build a factory, place a Pal in it, and they'll keep working as long as they're fed-until they're dead, that is.
Dungeon Exploration
With Pals on your side you can tackle even the most dangerous areas. When the time comes, you might have to sacrifice one to save your skin. They'll protect your life-even if it costs their own.
Breeding & Genetics
Breed a Pal and it will inherit the characteristics of its parents. Combine rare pals to create the strongest Pal of them all!
Poaching & Crime
Endangered Pals live in wildlife sanctuaries. Sneak in and capture rare Pals to get rich quick! It's not a crime if you don't get caught, after all.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer is supported, so invite a friend and go on an adventure together! And of course you can battle your friends and trade Pals, too.
In online co-op play mode, up to 4 players can play together.
Additionally, a dedicated server can allow up to 32 players to play together.
Note: PvP will be implemented in a future update.
Note: The maximum number of players playable on the same server will also be increased in a future update.

The reason you couldnt capture that Sparkit at 36 minutes is becuase you had scrolled your Palspheres to a different type (Greatball vs Pokeball). You didnt have any of those (The icon for them was green compared to the regular sphere being blue), so all you needed to do was scroll it back to the regular blue ones lol

Your prisoners can be human, too. If it has a health bar over its head, it can be enslaved. And you can butcher your slaves for their drops.

the reason why you couldnt capture that sparky at 37:30 was because you were using a different pal orb, if you look at the bottom right corner where the orbs are there was a wheel that i think allows you to switch between the different orbs

Oh god. I was organizing the pal box myself too. There is definitely an auto sort tab in the top right that will save so much more time. I would gladly watch a playthru of palworld. The videos are always better when the game is fun for the person playing so I would definitely make that the key deciding factor.

Great intro video to Palworld! Would love to watch full playthrough from you! You could play co-op and have camera man player like your other outstanding videos. TIP: Hit number 2 key to cycle between different Pal Spheres in order to use better and better spheres to capture Pals. I really like my Tanzee Shiny version I captured. He is great with work around base if you just in base crafting and such and pretty good attacks like his Seed Machine Gun and special attack where he uses Machine Gun after fires on enemy. Like the Valwyrm for now as my flying mount at lvl 21. So many different Pal choices but it is good to look at Skills since some element attacks do better damage versus some element type opponents. I'm only lvl 22 so much more to explore!

the creator of the game made a "game" called craftopia, this is just a reskin, craftopia has bin a work in progress for years, that really havent gone anywhere, this game might not get past this stage for a long time (if ever) developer doesnt have the best record, so dont buy on release, wait a bit and see

Got the game, enjoying it. Grab the boss pals from the dungeons, Chillet is a great Pal to have. The ball malfunction looked like you may have pressed ‘2’ that selects the next type of ball, you had the green type selected when trying to capture, but did not have any green balls in your inventory.

I'd love to see a full playthrough of this game. It certainly has my interest now, and judging by the gameplay you've shown us here, it _seems_ to be a more forgiving difficulty curve than Ark has. When you add in the Pokemon-like aspects, the tower-defense side for protecting your base, and the very interesting designs of the clothes, armor, and the critters themselves, I think I'm sold. With how the battles seem to have you restricted to one Pal out at a time, and they have some abilities they use in tandem with you, it reminds me a bit of Digimon. And the fact that the Pals can mill about your base and actively gather resources, assist in crafting (if not just craft _for_ you as long as they've got a blueprint to work with), and have their own care needs, it has a sort of minion-farm feel as well. I'm looking forward to playing this myself in the future!

I love your commentary in the playthroughs I've watched. You're engaging, entertaining, humorous. Can't say I'm a huge watcher of KZbin/twitch content but your showmanship and production/editing are a step above the ones I've watched. Even for games I'm not interested in playing myself I've found myself watching your content. As for this game, yeah would love to watch more and see you make a series out if it. Looks quite fun upto the point you played to and would like to see what end game looks like (if it's there for early access) and replay factor is before splurging $30. Maybe wait for first sale.

if you havent figured out yet, the sphere balls has types and can be selected by pressing key #2. lower right screen shows which is equip. reason why you werent able to throw a ball was you probably accidently press the #2 key causing it to set to other types of balls what you dont have. Also, get a glider equipment or pal. :)

I've got 32 hours in it, and I love it so much. PS the reason you couldn't through a ball at the electric guy is because you had it toggled to a ball you didn't currently have any of. hit the 2 key to toggle which ball you are using.

If you're willing to be killed and respawned with nothing until you find another fast travel tower you can deliberately respawn on the other islands to get fast travel spots for later.

This looks really fun. At least for a little while. Seems like it could have some cookie cutter dungeons and stuff but they made up for that with some comedic value and little added things that some games would overlook. The boss battles will be varied a bit just due to the different pals having different abilities. I dont know how much replay-ability it will have but i think with all the different pals and me being the type to want to "catch them all..." it would probably be worth the money to check out for at least one play through. Would love to see more on it and watch a series if you decide to do so. Thanks for the awesome video.
